Hey Nathan, I for one see nothing wrong with the pride you take in your work. You are fantastic at what you do, and have earned the right to display your accomplishments wherever and however you choose. A really unnecessary dig, in my opinion. Keep up the magic, and keep those pics coming.

Pretty sure Q's the one that bought a Battle Damaged T-800 and original release Predator 2 from me (I'm pretty sure the guy that I sold it to was a friend of Q that acted as a middle man after I refused to sell to Q), but in the end I got Paypal screwed, because he claimed he never got the package, so he made off with the figures and my money. His attitude towards other people just convince me that much more that he's a snake in the grass.

Keep posting your pics Nathan, that's what a forum is for. Don't know what crawled up that dude's arse, but I think I can speak for most of us that we appreciate your efforts. I for one can say that you've given me a bunch of helpful tips in my own customization, which is not a trait of an egocentric or self absorbed person.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being proud of what you do. This board has no place for carrying over any personal grudges into something else.

Take all the pride you want buddy at the end of the day you deserve it! You do some of the most amazing paint work I've seen on this board. Plus you work with one of the best companies around! Keep up your great work and please keep showing us all what you do. I'm a big follower of you Nath and I really do look up to you as an outstanding artist! Awesome work my friend!

Hi Nathan, i love checking out this forum, and seeing what you have been creating , and really appreciate the fact that you offer your talents to freaks members like myself and you are so down to earth. Im not going to mention any names, but when i started out collecting customs and asking about commisons a few years ago, i recieved some very arrogant and not very nice replies. And when i found you and your forum, and I approached you about getting my hands on your custom michael myers painted headsculpt, i was delighted to have come accross and really cool dude, who is really down to earth and passionate about customs. And its great to make a a new friend who shares my movie interests and colectables etc as there are not so many here in the uk lol
Basically what im trying to say is , dont worry about it Nathan, we all love your work and enjoy viewing it, dont change a thing your doing and just ignore the people who trying to ruin it for others.

:goodpost::goodpost::clap

Hey, now you're going too far with that accusation.:nono
I'm friends with Q, we live relatively close and he's never asked me to act as middle man in any transaction. You are also accusing him of screwing you in a transaction through an intermediary?:cuckoo:
I hate to be posting in SS's thread about this crap again. I understand the animosity that's being felt by his followers and banding up to defend him is cool and everything..... but now you are calling Q a thief by making a serious accusation from a transaction that you didn't have directly with him. I'm sorry, but that is ridiculous!

Thank you, everyone for the support and kind words. It's nice to be reminded how many fans I and loyal Freaks I have on this great forum. You're the reason I do what I do, and the reason I have become so good at it just like my fellow artists like Greggo.

Yes, some people love drama, and some people REALLY love drama. In fact, it was just brought to my attention this morning that there are PMs going around talking mad ____ about me, especially in regard to the upcoming 1/6 Xpo, suggesting that Q really wanted me to be a part of it, but that I refused and demanded a premium booth spot and payment for my attendance, neither of which Q could afford. None of this ever happened. I was never approached by Q or anybody else, and I didn't even know there was going to be a new Xpo until now.

Has anybody receaved any of these PMs about me and Xpo? I'd love to read them. Please feel free to repost here, or forward PM them to me. I'd like Darklord Dave to see them as well.

Hey Nathan:
I don't belong to any "group". If there's something I don't like, I will tell it (or in this case, write it) directly to you, like the last time with the "limited English" thing (I don't really want to go back to that and I think neither do you). But at the same time, I will praise and give props to your work every time it moves me. It works both ways.

Hi, Ed. While the tone of the "limited English" thing was unfortunately misunderstood, I do appreciate your honesty about how it looked and your compassion for Beto's sensitivity about it. If nothing else, I learned something valuable about Beto.

That issue aside, I've never had friction with you. I do know that you are closer friends with Q than I ever was, so forgive my perception of grouping you.

And now for something completely different.

Greggo is an extremely classy guy. He PMed me this quote he posted in his own customs thread, and I have to say it made my day. Not only that, but I fully second his comments of the other artists he mentioned. Like Greggo, they do some amazing stuff, and it's an honor and loads of fun to share this great forum with the likes of them.

Thank you all so much for all your fantastic comments! All I can say it helps have such great sculpts to paint. It only makes all the other skin tones shine!

I also would like to take this time to tell you all the people who inspire me on this board. I know there is so many talented people on this board but these 6 people really shine for me. For Outstanding sculpts and Full figures look no further than Trevolver and rainmanking. Trev hands down is one of the most truly talented sculptor I've ever seen, and Rainman for is beautiful figures with outstanding accessories and truly beautiful head sculpts. Both true Artists not to mention fantastic people to talk too. For Tailoring look no further than Kato .E the most perfect tailoring money can buy, each piece he does looks so real and its hard to believe that they are only 1:6 scale. For his Outstanding paint jobs SilentSurfer is the main man for me each piece he paints is so perfect, his skin tones and his eyes always puts me in shock. He truly deserves all the praise he gets. A perfect choice for Sideshow and I wish him all the luck in world. Finally for two of the customisers on this board! Elvis1976 for all his DC, Marvel etc. etc figures each one is a work of art! He has a great eye for detail not to mention his awesome paint work. For his awesome work on Star Wars and his Spacemarines Dorgmal Snow is truly one of the best we have on this board, plus he evens tackles spaceships :) Not to mention he's one of the most down to earth people I have ever met! So if you don't know any of these people please go and check them out, because you will all be impressed!

Thank you all again. In the meantime check out my updated blog https://greggocustoms.blogspot.com/2011/11/16-scale-repaints-and-paint-jobs-2011.html

Thanks Greggo. Your excellent work keep me on my toes. :1-1:

Wow, I really don't get any of this. Having met you in person a few times, having several conversations, and observing your conduct on this forum...I just don't get it. You are one of the coolest people I have met since getting into this hobby a few years ago, and just a stand-up guy in general.

I was excited for the next 1/6 expo, but this BS is killing that excitement rather quickly...

Wow, now this is getting out of hand. For someone who doesnt like drama, you must love it. All I posted was a comment on the Predator Statue thread, not on this thread to avoid drama. Nathan took it upon himself to bring the comment to his own custom thread to begin writing paragraphs about me and other boardies who had nothing to do with my comment.

Im not sure about Alice or what he is talking about.

So everyone who has something negative to say about me, you know where my booth is at Frank & Sons or what Police Department I work for (thanks Nathan). Don't get brave when you are on a computer screen accusing me of crap.

Taking old school back to school for this one.

Everybody remember the old Hicks replacement heads from early 2000s? The owner wanted a battle damaged look, but Hicks is never really messed up that bad until the elevator where his armor gets melted. So I just dirtied him up, and gave him drops of sweat.

Dude, you just stuck that sculpt in a time machine and sent it 11 years into the future. Dig the dirt and sweat detail, it looks ace :rock

Thanks! I wish I could post some of the D.M. serial killer here. Did you see the new batch in the 'other' thread?

Stay tuned for pre-battle damaged pics of your McClane, Marf. I'll get them up within the hour.

I haven't seen the latest batch yet, I'll have to go check those out :rock

Sweet!!!! You can shoot me an email, if you want to wait to post the finished pics in your thread, up to you. :duff

The door to the lab is about to creak back open. The tide from Sideshow has ebbed a bit, and I'm catching up the private commission backlog. Keep an eye on my signature for the big moment.
I'll definitely be on the lookout for this. I would love to have something painted by you in my collection. That Hicks and McClane are just fantastic work, as usual :clap
