I don't mind posting this here for now. Kiss it goodbye though. I'm going to beat the hell out of him (with paint).

Holy ____, there he is, there he ____ing is, that is John ____ing McClane right there. YippeKiyay indeed :yess::yess::yess: Nathan, he looks amazing, and with the battle damage....:thud: Thanks for posting that, it was tough dismantling McClane and handing him over to you, but if that picture is any indication, boy was it worth it.

:lol I'm glad you like him. And you know as well as any that my pics don't do justice to my paint. He looks much better in person. Your Holy Grail figure is soon to be a reality. Thanks for entrusting the project to me. I'm a fan of the first Die Hard, and it's a treat to pull this off for you.

That Hicks head still rocks. I have a Les Walker painted one in a revered spot on my shelf, proud to say. Awesome job on both, Nathan. Really nailed McClane.

Thanks. yeah, Les was the man when I first started out customizing for other people. He was one of the guys I tired hard to live up to.

I hope next time I show McClane, I can figure out how to get my camera to represent him better. As good as that picture looks, it frustrates me that it doesn't look like what's in my hand.

Anyway, here's some more so-so photography of the enhancements I made on an Advanced TT for another headsculpt (in the "other" thread). I touched up the chest, forearms, and neck. Again, looks better in person, but you get the idea.

Oh I know the difference that having it in-hand makes, which makes me that much more excited, because it already looks stellar in the pic :rock And you are absolutely right about this being a grail figure for me, right up there with Indy and Marty McFly, so you know I appreciate the care you're taking with the project :duff

Awesome work on the TT for Stabby McBlurface, that vein detail is insane! Is that for the daytime McBlurface?

Here's another project I did a few months ago, but just realized I forgot to post here.

I think this is the only anime style headsculpt I've done so far. And this one was pretty unique. Here's the character Talho.

The actual sculpt was a slightly more realistic interpretation and the owner wanted me to paint it accordingly and included this pic as reference.

The really tricky part was that the head was cast in white resin, but the body he wanted it to go on was one of the new Phicen seamless bodies made of very translucent, pink silicon.

Here's the result.

I did the hair in such a way that in the right light, it still captures that anime style highlight.

Wow that looks great and I really like that sculpt too. Wish I knew which sculpt that was. Like BM said above, great job matching the tones of the bod.

"Stabby McBlurface..." :rotfl

EDIT: I saw Nathan already did it.. LOL
