Thanks Nam :duff Those feet were one of the major things I wanted to upgrade with McClane v2 :lol After having this figure in my collection for a few days, I think he may honestly be my favorite piece. It's a testament to Nathan's paint, really. The attention to detail in his work...there is just so much to look at and appreciate. Amongst a collection of super heroes and sci-fi icons, a dude wearing a tank-top and grey pants steals the show :lol

It's always great to have a unique piece anyway, but something like that... it's really one of a kind. :clap

I think the less smiley faced Penguin sculpt would look great with green stuff oozing out of the mouth. I'm down to paint (and maybe hair) a different version just to have pics in my portfolio. It the piece was always going to have the hat on and didn't need a full rooted look, I'd definitely be in. I'm not sure that would make sense though. Drooling and hat never went together, did they?

I want to make the "Sewer" Penguin so green goo is good, but you're right, no hat there.

But maybe I'll make my own version; sewer Penguin with hat and coat -- like that movie poster where he had the cigarette holder that never made it into the film. Always loved the look of that poster Penguin. Just needs some green goo.... :D

Sounds awesome Nathan. Can't wait to see what it is.

On another note, may I ask if you could share what you used for hair? It looks very realistic and looks like it really works for 1:6. Looks very natural.

Lamb wool was used for the Penguin. Hope it helps your project, too!

Wow that figure is epic :rock

Makes me want to make one

Where did you get the hair that you used on Penguin Nathan? I need that gray color for a custom I'm working on.

I couldn't find any gray hair anywhere, either, so I colored them myself. You must get some BLEACHED or marked as WASHABLE hides if you are dyeing them yourself. Otherwise they become stiff and brittle when you make them into wigs later (if you are doing a wig application). I did a google search for doll hair supplies. I cannot remember the store name. I bought some on eBay before as well. If I remember correctly, I got some from "more-z-more"? on eBay. Do a Google search. It's easier.

I hope this helps!

Super busy, yes. It takes time to get back to everybody. I really only have time to set commission communication at certain times a day, sometimes a week. I'm not complaining though. I couldn't be happier to have so much interest in my services. I'll hit you back soon.

I thought Boba Fett and Grievous were going to be the highlights of my projects for 2011. 2011 aint over yet. Oh, if only I could tell you all what just landed on my paint table.:horror:panic::panic::panic::panic::thud:

I wish you could look upon it with your own eyes.:wink1:
