I've actually been a fan of your work for quite a while now, I've been hoping to see an update on that Murphy Robocop sculpt you were reworking. I have that same original Huia kit sitting around too and it's amazing to see what you had done with yours.

did you ever finish it? I remember seeing some WIP shots in the Official Robocop thread.

Keep up the awesome work, I'll try to check in more often to this thread.

I still haven't gotten any further on it, but now that you reminded me of it, I really want to finish it. I was just never sure if the sculpt was good enough to make him a RoboCop 2 clean, unhelmetted version, or a battle damaged, final battle RoboCop 1 version. I'm leaning toward R1, but that means a lot of BD to the Hot Toys figure and a full repaint. Yikes! It would so be worth it when it was done though.

Yes, I said it.

Three Sunohc Superman heads, one Hicks, and a Dexter.

The Dexter sculpt is pretty unrefined, and the casting isn't much better, but I'm not unhappy with the final result considering what I had to work with.

The Hicks likeness isn't there at all for me, but it's Hicksish enough, I guess. The casting on this one was really bad. Whoever is responsible for casting this, I have two words for ya. "PRESSURE POT"! I had to fill in airbubbles all over the place. I didn't even bother with the hair. Not worth the effort. Again, not a bad turn out considering...

And of course, this is Sunohc's Superman. Great sculpt. A pleasure to work on. These make 9 I've painted so far, the most of any single character with Clint Eastwood Blondie the closest second with about 7.

The translucent cast Superman is still my favorite paint up. I did this one for Sunohc, the sculptor, personally. The translucent cast with translucent paint really made this come alive.
