Thanks for the compliments. You never know what people are going to ask for, or what others will think when you do it. It's fun trying unusual and unexpected things.

Very cool! But you know what's not cool, blue balls.

:exactly:

Must... see... pics... in armor...

Absolutely beautiful paintup.

Sadly, armor would cover up most of the long hours of work I put into it, but it's not mine to display after all. Those pics were just with some spare parts I had since Darkness didn't send any armor with it. I'm not sure how he intends to dress this guy. Can't wait to see though.

Just great work all around on your Preds Nathan. You really know how to blend those shades together perfectly. :peace

Thanks Josh. That's the magic of airbrush.

Was that blue Pred based on anything other than being inspired by Abe Sapien? I'm diggin the blue color.

I read in the Sarah thread that you where thinking of making a rest stop table with the no fate inscription. Do you think you are going to offer them for sale?

One cool feature would be if there was a slit for the knife so we can make it stick to the table.

I was just going to get some craft store pine strips, weather them, and glue 'em up. Carving "No Fate" and having a place for the knife would be easy in that soft wood.

No, I hadn't thought of making a bunch of them for sale, but I'd be happy to take process pics to make it easy for others to do the same when I get around to it. I can't promise it will happen very soon though. I've still got loads of commissions to get through while trying to slip my own stuff in here and there. When I do it though, you'll know it.:wink1:

Also a little inspiration from Avatar.

Niiiice !!!!! I never imagine a Predator with the Na'Vi's paint would look so cool.
It takes guts and you succeded !

Got it. I'll hit you back on that soon DM. I get so many messages and requests now that I have to dedicate time each week just to respond to PM's and emails. Sounded interesting and doable though.

Fortunately it was on somebody else's figure:lol, so it didn't require too much guts on my part, but thanks.

Here you go Browncoats. The first finished Kaylee Frye headsculpt by Trevor Grove painted by yours truly.

Here's another with slightly different lighting. I wasn't sure which I liked better, so I made posters out of both of these pics.

Thank you so much Trev, for giving us fans these amazing heads. I sometimes find painting heads tedious, but the time flies right out the window when I paint your work. It's such a pleasure to see your sculpts come to life at the end of my airbrush.

I really cannot wait to see the remaining 5 crewmates.

Great news Nate! Hit me when you have the time! :wink1:

Thanks both of you. I don't regularly see posts from either of you, so for you to post in my thread must mean you're pretty impressed as expressed.

Keep chekcing back often. I'm constantly working and posting new stuff as well as older stuff...

Like this Alien Space Jockey model kit by Halcyon from the early 90's. I painted this one for Prefused in January, '10.

:panic: my goodness the detail is so crisp, awesome work Nathan

that Alien's kit is INSANE. seriously, amazing work!

I've actually been a fan of your work for quite a while now, I've been hoping to see an update on that Murphy Robocop sculpt you were reworking. I have that same original Huia kit sitting around too and it's amazing to see what you had done with yours.

did you ever finish it? I remember seeing some WIP shots in the Official Robocop thread.

Keep up the awesome work, I'll try to check in more often to this thread.
