Lol. How long will it be until you get back to me on my messages because I really want to talk about this in detail????????? Also how long would it be until you could get to the project and start making it for me????????? I'm sorry if I'm getting aggervating but I just really want this scar predator (I may have already said this but who cares because it's true, this whole sentence is true and I may have said it already) I also think that you are really good at what you do in sculpting and painting thats why I'm picking you and you also customized/made the Hot Toys heads look better than they first where, Yours are more movie accurate (not that im insulting Hot Toys because they are really good at what they do) and this message may not be formated right but it's ok, I think.

Try decaf? :dunno

Hey Nate! Finally got a chance to review this bad boy! Thanks again for the awesome work. You never cease to amaze me! Enjoy. :wave

Great review, DM. Thanks for that. I'm going to save that video, and I'm going to post it on Facebook.:wave

And beautiful work Nathan.

Thanks.

Try decaf? :dunno

:goodpost: Thanks, nam.

:lol It's cool. I understand your eagerness.

I've spent the last two weeks going through about 100 requests, so please don't think I'm ignoring you, and don't expect me to take on your project right away. Scar custom is a lot of work, and I have a lot of work to do before I get to that. I'm following up with everybody as I got their messages.:peace

Thanks, for understanding but is ti possible for us to talk on here about my setails on the custom or what????????? That must be hard to domessaging 100 messages back to people in one day or maybe two to three days or maybe even every day but now I know what famous people mean when they say they wish they were normal and had time to themselves (even though, you like what you do I think) but my point is that it must be hard for you to message 100 people in a few days or maybe even one day and be famous on this forum site at the same time (not to insult you im just trying to make a joke if your wondering). ;)

Nathan, be careful who you give your address to. Might want to use a neighbor for this one. :wave

Thanks fellas. Glad you liked it Nathan! :hi5: The crazy thing is no matter the pictures or video. This thing looks 100x better in the flesh! Theres just some magical painting techniques on the headsculpt that cant be picked up. A true gem!

Nathan's paint reacts to the light in a way that mimics real flesh. I can't explain it...but it is indeed magical. Something impossible to convey through pictures, unfortunately!

Who the hell is this dude that he gets on Nathan's list with 14 posts and constant harassment of the poor guy when I've wanted a silent surfer paint job for years and am a trusted member of the community?

:(

Wh do you guy have to pick on me so much?

What you have to realize is that SilentSurfer is a highly respected and much sought-after artist in this community. When he says he is busy, I'm sure he really means it. You probably don't need to keep asking.

You're new to the boards, so what you may not realize is that there are a lot of people in line ahead of you. And they're following the rules Surfer set down.

Many people, myself included, have been patiently (and happily) waiting for the doors of the lab to officially open to new customers. But the thing is ... he will tell us when that will happen. That's totally up to him. It could be tomorrow. It could be six months from now. It could be never. It's up to him.

But until then, all I can do is relax and wait. Just because I want him to paint my figures, doesn't mean he has to drop everything and tend to my project right away. That's not how it works.

This is not a hobby for the impatient. It often takes a long time to fully assemble a figure. Especially if you're trying to have one of the top artists like SilentSurfer work on it for you. Sometimes it can take YEARS to put together all the components of a custom figure.

Personally, I've got half a dozen heads I would LOVE to have him paint (with several more on the horizon), but I haven't pestered him with PMs or posts in his thread because:

A) He says he's currently very busy working on existing commissions.

B) He hasn't said he's taking on any new customers yet.

C) When he finally does open up to new customers, it will be HIS choice whether to take me on as a client, not mine. He is under NO obligation to take on ANY of my projects.

D) It's rude to jump ahead of all the people already waiting in line.

So, until things change, I will wait. Quietly, patiently, and politely. When (or IF) the time comes that he takes on new clients, I can only hope that I'm lucky enough to be selected. And if I am, I will then patiently and politely wait for my turn.

In the meantime, I will not badger him with PMs or hound him with demands on his thread.

I apologize if I'm coming across as aggressive or rude. I don't mean to be. It's just that this is a much cooler hobby if we all relax and enjoy the ride.

(My apologies to SilentSurfer. I certainly don't mean to speak for you, man, but this has been bugging me. No offense intended.)

I will just stop posting and im not trying to harass anyone. The only reason I have 14 posts is because im new to this forum site.

And just about all 14 posts are in my thread.:slap

No, we won't discuss details in this thread. I know what you're after...

^^my brain hurts trying to read these cyclical postings.

Raymond, you're on the list ahead of him. He's not technically on the list yet. I just haven't gotten to your request yet. I think I'll do that right now, actually. PM coming.

I totally agree with Bucky. I've got some heads that need to be painted by the master but I would never think to bother him until he opens his doors to new customers.
