I sure hate to do it, but I'm selling my Jun Planning ultra-rare Spider Mohawk Gremlin. Check the link for more details.

I've been so flooded with orders since FAMcon that I hesitate to even post new paint jobs anymore. I won't be taking many new orders for a while, but feel free to ask. Some of you, my long-time VIPs (you know who you are), know you're always welcome.

Anyway, here's my latest repaint of the Medicom Young Indy heads. The following pics are actually two different heads painted at the same time, and photographed from two slightly different angles. They look identical in person though.

Damn, that is all River. Amazing :clap

Yeah, that young Indy is amazing!!! Totally River Phoniex, without a doubt!!! That's great to hear there has been plenty of work since the show, hopefully you'll be available for the next one!

That young Indy is tremendous. That's a given. Everything in Nathan's thread is tremendous.

But I just Googled the original Medi figure and ... wow. :horror

I don't believe that's the same head. It's just not possible.

You sir, are a miracle worker.

:bow

I've got some friends coming over and I was wondering if you could maybe also turn this water into wine?

Thank you guys. Here to finish out my Indy posts for the evening, WGP's Smiling Indy on YouBastards' full custom figure. For some reason, the eyebrows photograph kind of chunky, but in person you can see individual hairs.

Amazing paint. Not sure about the body tho. Looks too bulky maybe? The shirt too closed up... but that's Nate's awesome futzing at work!

Didn't actually futz it much. I should have opened the shirt some. Just popped the head on and took pics. I believe it is the HT Indy (or similar body). The jacket is also thick.

Yes, Pop, it's Kato's clothes, some of mfisher's stuff, and a Strain whip, which I think is amazing!

Great work, Nathan! :clap

That Indy is on a TT19 with arm swap. Whip is by Joe Strain, professional whipmaker and former apprentice of David Morgan, the whipmaker for the original Indy films.

Thanks! I've been insistent that the biggest problem of the Hot Toys release was the horrible whip. The Hot Toys headsculpt isn't the greatest, but from certain angles with certain eye positions, it works. There's nothing saving that whip.

I like MFisher's whips too, but I decided with the money I've got invested in Indy, I might as well go all in. The Strain whip cost around $250 a few years ago, and it was well worth the cost.

As for the arms, I'm not sure off the top of my head, but i think they are from one of the Hot Toys standard TT knock-offs that are on eBay.

Yup, the top shelf bits can cost ya; that's for sure.

That whip sounds really impressive and definitely looks so from what I can see. You have to post some pics that show it off better when you get this back!

Here are some pix of the same whip with my ToD custom:

Wooooww, love the lifeness in those eyes. Was holding on to my regular young indy head as i only have one. But this repaint knocks it out of the park, the state, the continent and way to over to europe where i live and waiting to catch it ;).
