Here's some of my own behind the scenes pics from the Bith project so you can see the sculpted forearms and necks.

Thats a lot of Bith! And you had to do all of that another 2 times right for the duplicate protos? Whatever they pay you, its not enough! :lol

Amen to that.

Aside from the instruments, the pics above show all the parts I had to paint. In addition to six heads, six pairs of forearms and necks, 12 pairs of hands, and 6 pairs of boots, there were two sets of instruments total for the project. I used so many different metallic colors of Alclad II paint on the instruments that I think I gave myself minor brain damage. My left eye was twitching all the next day, but that may also be because I didn't get any sleep that night because they had to be back at Sideshow the next day.

Doing 2-3 versions of the same head/figure doesn't seem so bad, but when you have a full band they want all done at once, that just gets crazy! I think they totally owe you a final production set of the complete band for that!

Yikes, just make sure your left arm doesn't go numb. :medic
Looking forward to meeting you at the show!

Yeah, I'll see you there (unless my left arm goes numb before then.

Don't worry too much about that.:wink1: Sideshow's been good to me on several occassions.

People can complain all they want about what Sideshow may be doing wrong product wise, but nobody can say they are nothing but the kindest, most caring, good people to deal with. I have nothing but prasie for them. Even when I've have problems they couldn't sort out, they were nothing but pleasant to deal with. :duff

Can't wait to see what stuff of yours they will have on display. And hopefully you can pull me out of the crowd again at SDCC this year so we can chat a bit :lol

Great stuff SS. Luv your work on the Sandtrooper, can't wait to see the entire thing, and you really made the sculpt on the bith come alive. If I ever get the space (and that is a big if LOL) to open up and display my Indy Jr, Sr, Toht and Belloq I may have to hit you up for a repaint. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for all the praise. If anybody is interested in paint jobs by me, please hit me up via PM. Painting is my business, and business is good.

The Sideshow crew are definitely some of the nicest bunch I've ever met. I've hung out with some of them a couple times, and it kinda feels like home. And their customer is the best.

I can't believe how awesome this looks! I'm so happy to have been a part of it. Somebody else did a fantastic job painting the Dewback, but I got to do the rider, and it wasn't just a matter of adding dirt. I got completely raw, white, unassembled parts (6 parts helmet, two parts each body section, all the halves of every part of the pack, etc.) Color matching the blue/green on the packs was surprisingly tricky.

Check this beauty out!

Looks great man!
Also sent you a PM awhile back, not sure if you are locked up on commissions right now or not. Hit me back when you can.

Thanks!

Commissions and Sideshow projects are heavy right now, but I'm getting through them. Nobody will go unanswered. Sorry it's taking so long. I'm focused on catching up the work before I schedule more.

I am very happy that so many of you like my work so much that you're beating down my inbox to get stuff done. Thanks.
