You gave away my secret!

Thanks. The devil and I are still working out the details.:devil

It's not always easy to see such tiny detail like the eyes when I'm working on these. Sometimes I have to just trust my hand to put the brush in the right place. Time and practice have trained me to feel the brushes and airbrush like they are my own finger tips and trust them to put paint where I want it.

I mostly use ComArt paints made for Iwata airbrushes, but the paint alone isn't the trick; it just makes the trick easier to pull off. The real trick to paint just like me is:monkey1

There is no trick you either do....... or you don't

You got a PM T_T

And still very hard to believe that this is done by applying the paint...
Truly unbelievable and stunning!

Thanks guys. Sorry I haven't been around or replied to PMs lately. I just moved to a new place, and it took much longer to get settled in and get the studio ready to go than I thought. Don't worry, all in-hand pending commissions are safe and accounted for. As time and Sideshow projects permit, I will be getting through them.:peace

Looks like one of my favorite projects is going to be revealed soon. At least some of it.

From Sideshow Facebook and the Star Wars Inisder.

The Bith leader of the Modal Nodes will be playing his way into your collections very soon!

That set is going to be ridiculous... hope its not $100+ per figure as I don't know if I can justify $500-$600 for the Cantina Band :lol

It sounds like they are releasing one member as the leader of the band, and maybe the others as a set of some sort. I'm not sure what the actual plan is though.

And here you go. Trevor Grove's Lawrence of Arabia as portrayed by Peter O'Toole. This one was unique because he looks so pale in that movie and his eyes are so light. I had to be careful to hold back on the color saturation.

JUST AWESOME!. I love this sculpt from Trevor. I have to man up and buy one before he stops offering them.

Nathan,

I've spent the last few nights at work reading thru this whole thread from page 1 and I have to say your paint jobs are the absolute best I've ever seen! I loved all the predator repaints especially your unique blue ones! I'm also very impressed on you sculpting/fixing abilities! I'll definitely be bookmarking this page and checking back often to see what goodies your working on! Thanks for sharing your awesome creations/repaints with us!

Phenomenal headsculpt & paintjob!
100% agree about the eyes! That's the key moment for both the character & the actor and you nailed them!

Thanks guys. I have a few more of those Arabia heads coming my way for paint. Let's see if I can live up to that paint job on each.

Thank you very much for the praise. I see no end to what's coming on the horizon, so do check back regularly. Private commissions and Sideshow projects are rolling.

Just finished another great prototype set for you video game lovers that took all my old model kit building skills to do, but you'll have to wait until November to see it.
