One of my favorite characters and you did him justice! Great work, Nathan.

thank you,but all the hard work was by Nathan...I will be posting some other pics of my other joker figuers soon

That's always with the same wonderment I regularly come to admire your artwork, Nathan. :thud:
Your "little contribution" to the new Vader vs Luke dio is a real delightfulness, like everything else of course... But I will not list your masterpieces in an exhaustive way! :lol

For lack of never having been able to place an order, I still have my eyes in consolation prize, and thank you again, because grace to you they do not stop shining with delight! :clap:clap:clap

Hi Nathan, hows it going ?Ive Been watching the friday the 13ths again, and looked at my jason figure collection in a bit of dissapointment lol I loved my sideshow part 3 , it was my first 1/6 figure and horror figure and is the figure that got me into collecting 1/6 figures, i waited ages for it to arrive from forbidden planet when i was younger , i thought i finally had the best jason figure ever lol But looking at jason from part 3 in the movie, the mask is so different, the sideshow figures is too big, i just wish someone would create a 1/6 part 3 hockey mask 100% movie accurate , including the shape of the mask, the eye hole size and shape of them and paint colour? Do you ever think you would be intersested in being comissioned to make a 100% movie accurate mask from scratch? Once again the only person i know who could do it to the best standard would be you! obviously when you get the time, i know your soooo busy at the moment. I just feel you nailed the likeness of michael myers , spot on, i would just love a movie accurate jason!
Thanks mate
Adam

Hey Adam,

Thanks for the kind words. While reading that I was afraid I was going to have to tell you that I was sorry not to be able to take on anything new for a while, but it just so happens that I've already begun 'perfecting' my own 1/6 SS part 3 Jason mask when I gave my p3 Jason a repaint a bit ago. I set the project aside before finishing the mask, but it is already half way done. I don't mind recasting the new mask when I'm done with it. Don't know when that will be, but keep an eye on this thread. As soon as it's done, I'll be posting pics of it.

Here's my Jason repaint and the corrected date on the Pamela headstone. The headstone WAS movie accurate, but the movie wasn't. She died in 1980.

That looks great man... but I'm thinking Jason at least needs a new shirt. Looks a little sub-par next to that paint up.

Dude that repaint is awesome, that figure is now perfected Nathan! Just need that hockey mask, looking at the early stages im sure its gonna be sweet! And true to the film 100% Ive got a perfected michael myers, freddy krueger , a part 3 movie accurate jason would make my day, being my favourite movie villian of all time! Maybe you might think about perfecting the rest of the sideshow masks! Keep up the good work, cant wait to see updates on the mask! Ps. Ive just seen about a thing in the USA called the 1/6th expo convention, it sucks the uk has nothing at all like it, it would be awesome to have something like that. The best weve got in the uk is the london film convention, with the best guest (i feel) was Robert Englund , he was so down to earth, walking around the place. When he signed an autograph for me with his permanent marker he was like "watch out its JUICYY!" in his freddy voice lmao

Yeah, I wish I knew a thing or two about sewing. I'd like to see something a little nicer on him too. I'm not hating it though.

You need to start sewing... then onto sculpting. Then as a triple threat you could take over the world :lol

I think someone (maybe from Betomatalia, or offered in conjunction with one of his projects) offered custom PT 3 clothing. I like the material of the Sideshow, but the cut and hang is just a bit off.

He did. But if you find a shirt with double pockets and shorten it, dye it, and fold it up under with some fabric tac you can make one yourself :wink1: (sorry for posting my own pic in this thread, so not worthy, but is only to illustrate).

Hi Nathan, im sure youve probably all ready know ,but in friday the 13th part 3 , Jason's mask is so much smaller than the sideshows part 3, his ears and top of his head can be seen when facing forward. By the way Charles, that is one awesome jason, love the shirt colour looks really movie accurate, the mask looks great too, but i still think the mask is a little smaller in the movie? Still is a great improvement on the sideshow mask.

To be honest, I can't tell where the shirt ends in those shots. I was going off pics of the PF. Point is Nathan doesn't have to learn how to sew. He can modify the right shirt easily enough.

Celebs can better get away with walking around in the UK. Here in California, they get mugged by star-struck fans or end up on TMZ.

The 1/6 Xpo was cool, but it wasn't nearly as big as it sounded. It wasn't like Toyfair just for 1/6. It was just a section of an already cool indoor swapmeet of collectibles.

Beto does make some cool stuff. His wife is an amazing seamstress. I finally met them both at 1/6 Xpo. Very nice, but limited English.

I already do some sculpting, but I'm so busy with painting these days that I have little time or need to keep it up. Sewing I definitely would like to do. Actually I'd love it if my wife got into that like Beto's. SilentSurfer really would be able to take over the world.:yess:

To be honest, that looks way too short:

Agreed. The body of the shirt in the movie is actually pretty long, but the sleeves make it look a couple sized too small. I think the actual shirt in the movie must have been custom taylored to fit like that, because it really does make sense.

For that reason, I actually like the cut of the Sideshow 1/6 shirt.

Well aware. I'm actually glad I'm not the only one who recognizes that. It may not be obvious in my pic of the masks, but the white one is also a Sideshow part 3 mask that has been trimmed down all around and all the holes have been filled in to be drilled smaller.
