Hey Nate, I got your email, just been waiting til after CC to get back to you, I'll shoot you a response later today. Congrats on everything at the show, it's a hell of a time to be there and have stuff on display.

Grievous came out awesome SS! You perfectly achieved that Roman statue marble look on his armor :rock

Awesome shots Nathan, your hard work and passion shines through in each of those photos. You are a man truly deserving of the favoritism Sideshow is showing you!

Oh no, no, no. They're not showing me favoritism. There are a lot of artists doing a lot of great pieces. I am just one of many, and I'm happy to say that many of them are my friends.

The fact that a lot of stuff I worked on was at Con has little to do with my painting it, and everything to do with Sideshow pulling together so many great people to make that stuff happen. I'm just happy to have been involved in so much. When you consider how much work a dozen people had to do to make these a reality, I probably did the least amount of work.

Giving credit where due: the Star Wars display dioramas were built and painted by the talented and creative in-house guys, and all the droids and STAP on display are China productions. I didn't even know about the Pilot, Security, and Geonosis Droids until the show.

Oh I mean no disrespect to any of the other painters, I just think the sheer quantity of projects they're giving you (esp. major releases like Boba Fett, Grievous, and one of their flagship LSF Old Ben) definitely says something :wink1:

Just popping in to compliment you on the amazing work that you had on display at SDCC, SS. Boba, Ben, Grievous, Zartan..... Everything was 100% mind blowing! :clap

I'm hoping the Boba Fett that I eventually get has even 25% of the attention to detail that you poured into the proto pieces.

Thank you, everyone. It was a year's worth of work for me, and over two years of work for the Sideshow team to have such amazing looking figures at SDCC this year.

And now it's time to work on next year's run.

Der's my boyyyyyyyyyy! OOM-9! There's another one running around without the pack but with the two antennae, someone asked about that.

It was actually the same figure. On preview night, they all had the packs on, but the next day, the appropriate attachments were swapped in for OOM-9 and others.
