The Backstage pass was just posted for the Silver Surfer comiquette. For those of you who haven't seen it yet, please do. My jaw just about dropped. This piece is a thing of beauty and I'm really amazed at the job Sideshow did. This will be one of the stand out pieces of 2010 in my opinion, especially once these start arriving into collections.

I just watched the Backstage Pass and I agree with you. I think I'm going to pick up this comiquette.

He looks huge in the backstage pass. I also like hte fact that they showed all the interchangeable stuff.

He looks huge because SS is playing with us. They put Klauder 2 feet behind the statue. So the statue is going to look HUGE relatively. I think they realized after the Psylocke diorama backstage (how small it is when Klauder is standing right beside it) that they shouldn't let us see a true perspective to the pieces. So now they put it a couple of feet closer to the camera lens, and 'walaaaah'...you have a much bigger sculpture.

Dude i saw it in person and it Is HUGE! no kidding! MUY GRANDE!

THAT'S my p!tu!!!

I have no doubt it's going to be monumental, as it should be considering the size of the base and the length of the surfboard, but that doesn't change the fact that Sideshow is playing with the perspective in the BSP, making it look even bigger than it is.

Since you've seen it, do you think the Surfer figure itself is 1/4 or 1/5 scale?
