Shame about the head seam, though. That greatly limits your display options imo if you don't want that certain The Mask feel to it.

I was actually in the same boat as Shai not too long ago, but then I saw this piece in person for the first time. It just has some aura and presence about it when you see this up close. The massive scale of the board and the pose just has a graceful elegance and is just amazing in person. After seeing this in person it was a no-brainer for me. It's a great piece.

These photos really highlight this comiquette in a way that's so far unparalleled, by having him in an all-white, brightly lit room that enhances that chrome-ish paint job very well. Nah, just kidding. It's gorgeous, definitely. But I received a flawed one. The rear peg was drilled improperly, and won't fit into the board. What's worse, when I tried to remove it after inserting it as far as it would go, some paint chipped away from the board. So I'll have a replacement on the way soon.

If SS would have made a chrome version with no interchangeable heads/arms, I would have bought one in a hurry.

I agree chrome would have been really sick but I still love it as it is..although I'm glad I got the Bowen chrome one at least..I just love everything silver surfer!
