I do what I can. :duff

Must not be a lot of folks making custom Preds.

Re: Skiman's 1/6 Resident Evil NEMEIS HS/Kit [Waitlist available*] WIP Post #270

How tall are the TNA bodies? I've been thinking of using a Pred body cause I like the height.

Any idea when this will be completed? I don't ask that to rush you, I'm just wanting to be sure I have the money for this when it's finished.

It'll be finished when it's done. The amount of work involved dictates that not a single aspect can be rushed. Once mine's done Ski will have a better grasp on how long each one will take. Until then, it's not even worth asking about.

Those Dc direct 13" bodies are pretty good once hidden under clothing.

Hello there CBbob:NOM-NOM, thanks for stopping by my brother. I'm not really too familiar with the DC Direct line as I only have the V for Vendetta piece, how sturdy are the bodies? This will for sure need to support the weight of the head piece as well, so with keeping this in mind this is definitely going to weigh a pretty good chunk of change by the time all the clothing, boots, headpiece, chest/shoulder piece is applied to the bodies. I really can't wait to start the tailoring once all the sculpting is done, the real leather is going to add a very nice touch (I plan on using techniques such as sanding/filing, etc... to give him a real life wear of the clothing as if he were battling STARS all night :D) I haven't worked on anything this massive since the GI JOE Nemesis :thud:

I really think whenever this guy gets into the hands of our collectors they are really going to be pleased being that the Predator bodies are pretty solid as well with the new Hot Toys design on those lines.

Just my 2 cents but I would think Ski would want to keep this to the two body types. Otherwise he'll have to customize too many different bodies. Let's not kill the guy with this massive undertaking.

:lecture:lecture:lecture :exactly::goodpost: More bodies = more molds = more $$$ = higher price.

Just thought I'd drop by and share. A very early WIP of the torso for those chomping at the bit like me....

I had no idea you were going to put so much detail into the body as well. When these are finished will they still be poseable at the shoulders?
