Same thing happened to me

Install the game offline 1st
Then update it

100 times faster

I did have a glitch where i jumped over a railing and got stuck like my dude was in freefall , had to save then load the game .

I love this game , the driving is no where as good as GTA4 but the whole fighting and using the environment when fighting is freaking awesome .

I love kidnapping random people and stuffing them in my trunk , then driving the car into the water.

Does that make me a sick summama beeeetch?

Haha I love doing that too or just driving around and laughing at them banging on the trunk trying to get out.

One awesome thing I noticed today- I rammed a police SUV into a building (which then caught on fire and exploded). Once my police level went away, I walked up to the car and actually saw civilians pulling out their phones and snapping pics of the burning police car. Too awesome!

Is there a way to throw enemies with weapons like knives. It seems like they're immune to throws.

Hmm..... I'm trying to remember but can't for some reason. I think the best way to deal with them is to just be ready to counter and then go on the offensive. There's a move later on in the game that you learn that might be more effective in grappling them, but I haven't played the game in a couple of days so unless I'm in the heat of the moment it's hard to remember.

Yeah countering isn't a problem, but sometimes you wanna take a guy out quick and these guys seem to counter any time you try to grab them. I don't think I've tried stunning them first just got that knee combo that stuns. That might work.

I played the demo this morning, and I really want to experience the full game. Combat isn't as difficult as I thought it would be, and, thus far, my favorite environmental kills are probably the air conditioner and the furnace.

Reached level 8 'face' and now have access to the Game of Death jumpsuit, and also did the martial arts school fights to get the Fist of Fury/Enter the Dragon pants, Ong Bak uniform, and Enter the Dragon/Fearless suit as well.

Also bought the 400K+ Lamborghini ...which is important to have when dressed as a legendary martial artist

I liked the one with the furnace where you'd throw a guy's upper body into the fire and then pull him out and watch him run around burning

I figured out an easy way to take out the thugs when you go to a drug area before you can hack the security camera.

I just drive my car up in there and smash the thugs , run them all over and over you will never die or get hurt .

FYI - if nobody knows this , there is a tire iron in every car to use as a weapon , go to the trunk and press triangle on ps3 , IDK crapbox buttons , get that before you fight 10 guys

I tried that and for some reason I was met by MORE thugs! I'll give it another try next time I get to play (probably not for another week).

But yeah the tire iron is handy except I find myself driving the scooter quite often. Handles well!!

The tire iron is cheating that my Bruce Lee wannabe character does not use when fighting a group of thugs

Does anyone else feel it was a weird exclusion to not have numchucks in the game?

I mean the Lee references are obvious and numerous and yet out of all the hand to hand weapons, the most obvious one isn't there?

Nunchaku will probably be included in future dlc, I'm sure.

It's tough getting leveling up Wei's Triad skills, even with the 15% bonus Triad exp from the clothes. Much easier with the Police, melee, or Face trees.

Put in a good 5 or 6 hours last night, really enjoying the experience so far. Wei Shen is becoming one of my favorite video game characters really fast, right along the line up that includes Ezio Auditor, Nathan Drake, Tommy Vercetti, and others. Great voice acting in this.

After 28 hours of Gameplay, IMO this game is one of the best games of this year no doubt !
