Smallville 7th Season - SPOILERS

It's still hit and miss as it's always been - there have been a couple of great episodes this season too. They've renewed for season 8, but the rumors are Kreuk and Rosenbaum are leaving. (Yay to Kreuk, boo to Rosenbaum). So that's another season in Smallville.

Kreuk's departure really does nothing for me....Lana's character has been useless for some time. Rosenbaum's though worries me, the one thing that the show has been moving towards is first building the relationship between Clark and Lex as friends and moving into them as perfect adversaries. That relationship only has not been completed but is moving to towards its prime. Without Lex the show will feel a large void that will be troublesome to replace.....Not to mention without recasting a Lex Luthor any continuation into Metropolis as a spin off would be awkward at best.

If they either recast lex or lex leaves, I'll probably never watch the show again. And I've watched every episode so far.

Hmmmm, I think I have mixed feelings about it. I'm wondering if we will get less craptastic episodes next season; OR we could get also less great episodes.

I rewatch the superman the animated series every once in a while and that hit my fix. There's the Justice League and Superman movies in the future to look forward to.

Superman fixes won't be the problem its new Superman material that we'll be craving. Guess there is always the books.

Lee's Superman is amazing. I love all of them for their own distinct style from McGuinness to Perez to Simonson to Benes to Sale and even Timm. Never did catch on to Quietly's version

but for me Yu's versions

and Kirkham's versions

Have been my favorites so far.

They probably renegotiated and the CW didn't want to pony up the bucks. Miles and Al leaving won't be as detrimental to the show as Rosenbaum leaving. I kind of hoped they'd get Verheiden back as show runner, he's looking for work now that BSG is will wrap.

The CW should just let it end, but it's the highest rated show they have. I'd think Welling would say it's over soon though.

Superman in kingdom come is by far my favourite version of the character.
