Thanks Smallville for all the CGI crap!! we didnt get to see Tom in the full suit!! cheap trick btw using John Williams Theme, but it has his moments though........

While I really liked most of it, let me get this straight...

Had to sit through yet more of Clark doubting things....again.

I am glad I was wrong about Lex getting his body possessed by Darkseid on his return but let's use Lionel's body instead...that hasn't been done to death on this show.

It only took three arrows and one fly though to defeat Darkseid and his minions after all that build up...lame.

That was very anti-climactic to say the least.

And Clark wasn't able to defeat Lionel with his fists, but suddenly when he punches him with his head, he goes poof?

Absolutely LOVED IT!!!! I couldn't be happier and sad at the same time....so bitter sweet to see my favorite show end.

The Finale was Perfect IMO. Thanks to all the true fans and the people behind smallville that knew this show deserved to stay on the air and tell it's amazing story!!!

And to all you haters out there....I guess it's your time to hate on...lame!

Hey i would like you to please explain to me why did you think this ending was perfect?.......:lecture

Seriously!!!! UNREAL!!!

Is it wrong that I got goosebumps during that scene?!?!

I'm crying. Tears of joy. I swear!!!!

Oh my god, that was perfect. I have no words for right now. I am literally squeeing like a little girl. It's sad!!

The perfect ending.

Awesome ending!!!!

They definitely saved the best for last. That may have been the most satisfying finale to a show I've ever seen.

I loved it!!! It was just perfect.

Well, I was going to type my thoughts about the finale, but I see you all have done it for me. I couldn't have asked for a better end to one of the greatest shows (if not the greatest) I've ever had the pleasure of watching. And yes, tears of joy were shed (as expected!)

10 amazing and wonderful seasons....I'll never forget this show and what it has meant to me after all of these years. There will certainly never be another one like it.

Thanks, Smallville.

So I guess Chloe and Oliver make crappy parents.

-They trust Superman's secret identity to thier kid

-By the looks of the sun in the last shot, apparently they put thier kid to bed at 5 in the afternoon.

-They let a 5 year old keep spring loaded projectile weapons in his room.

Maybe he's the Emerald Archer's sidekick ...

Seriously??

If you need explanation as to why the ending was perfect then you just don't get what Smallville or the character of Clark was about :lecture

I know the question wasn't directed at me, but I wanted to chime in.

For me, when a finale 10 years in the making leaves me content, I think it did its job. When Jor-El told Clark that his training was complete, that to me, was the defining moment of the entire episode. That's when I said to myself, "THIS is a finale."

Smallville was always about Clark Kent and his journey to becoming the legend we all know he will be. After tonight, I truly believed that the journey had come to an end, and it left me with a smile on my face.

This show has always been about the characters, not really the suprahuman threat. The jeopardy only serves to reveal the characters. So you could say that once Clark/Kal-el fully accepted his destiny and dual origins that defeating the villain was easy.

And I think that not seeing Tom in the suit for any length of time was probably smart. He's a lot heavier than he was in season 1 and it might have disturbed the fantasy a bit. But I do like that they fixed the SR suit. Also they shot Rosenbaum in shadow and so we never really saw the top of the baldcap. I did see seams in one shot but it was handled really well. I'm glad they did something about the memory reset - at least it wasn't magic.
