And in regards to Michael Rosenbaum returning for season 10,
Apparently he at a Con in London, and representing smallville. Here are some quotes i tracked down.

Michael on Tom: "Yes, he calls me all the time, takes me out to dinner. I'm like "Tom's never taken me out to dinner before!" And he's like: "you're gonna come back!" after I've had, like, six drinks..."

Michael on SV: "Would I go back to Smallville? They've talked to me a couple of times. If it works out, it works out. I'd like to think it would work out."

Here at the convention in London, Michael has been so great, answering loads of questions. I was actually lucky enough to ask him a question during the con and have had a lot of one-on-one time with him.
I asked him, "Brian and Kelly aswell as Tom have all been trying to get you to return to Smallville, so is there any chance you will return for season 10 the final season".
Michael laughed, replied and i quote, " I dont know Tom has been stalking me and talks are being had, its not a no, Lex could come back, crazier things have happend"

I think its pretty safe to say we will see MR for the final season.
SEASON 10 IS GOING TO BE EPIC!

Well, that is some GREAT news then! I think they're "sweet talking" him to death about coming back, and I really hope he does! The series has GOT to end with Lex and Superman. Then...they can do a new Superman movie with the Smallville cast! That is what I would LOVE to see! Now that Warner Bros. wants to "reboot" the Superman movies...again.

I will be so happy if Rosenbaum returns. We need Lex!!!
By the way, the beginning of the season 9 finale with Lois Lane, Perry White as editor of the Daily Planet, the Returns suit, and Olsen just gave me goosebumps. I had to watch it over and over again!
Even though it was a dream, it still was cool

Why is Michael Rosenbaum giving them such a hard time about coming back? It's not like he's been doing ANYTHING since he left Smallville!

Personally I haven't been enjoying Smallville since he left. I may be in the minority but I really didn't like the Doomsday, Checkmate and Zod storylines. I did like Green Arrow and the League, and I LOVED Lana leaving!

The last couple of seasons I've just been watching out of obligation, sometimes just FF'ing through some stuff. But since it's the last season I'm curious to see where they take the characters and leave them off at the end.

And I just wanted throw this out there (Warning: Random comment ahead):

I've always been impressed with this show's soundtrack since day one, so I'm calling it now. This season better feature "Secrets" by One Republic. If you haven't heard it yet, listen to it. It's a great song IMO and if it doesn't scream "worthy of a Clark and Lois moment", I don't know what does.

It would be a PERFECT way to foreshadow what's to come between the two. Perfect. Perfect.

I can't believe this is the last season.....This has been one of a few shows i loyally watched every ep, from Pilot to end, i wish this wasn't the last season.....when you watch a show for this long...9 seaons, it makes you remember back as to where you were when you started watching it from the beginning and whats happened in your life since.

I'm gonna miss, Prob just as much as i miss BTVS
