Re: Smallville Season 10: The Final Season
Friday is the day!!!!
BUMP!
Friday is the day!!!!
BUMP!
I can't believe this is the last season.....This has been one of a few shows i loyally watched every ep, from Pilot to end, i wish this wasn't the last season.....when you watch a show for this long...9 seaons, it makes you remember back as to where you were when you started watching it from the beginning and whats happened in your life since.
I'm gonna miss, Prob just as much as i miss BTVS
That's exactly how I feel. I've seen every episode, and it's weird seeing the show evolve for as long as it has. Now, this is it. The final season is almost here.
It will definitely be sad to see it go. This is the last of my shows still airing with new episodes. My week always consisted of Buffy, Angel, and Smallville. First, Buffy left, then Angel, and now Smallville. Sure, I watch some of the new stuff on TV, but nothing has caught my attention like these shows.
I'm going to enjoy this last season to the fullest. You'll probably see a few sappy posts from me, when all is said and done.
Totally agree, me and my girl started dating when the first season aired, always drove to each others houses and watched it together and now 9 years later we're married and watching it in our own home still not missing an ep.....gonna be sad to see it go for sure!!!
and of course you know i feel your pain when it comes to Buffy and Angel
And I have to say my favorite part of Smallville, still to this day, is the Clark and Lana "story." To watch their relationship grow the way it had was pure gold as far as I'm concerned. Will they? Won't they? Will they? Won't they? I know he's destined to be with Lois, and I'm all for that especially the way they've developed her (Lois) character, but still Clark and Lana really made the show "click" for me. Back in the high school years of Smallville and even through Season 6 and 7, the on-screen chemistry between those two was phenomenal. Season 1 aired my freshman year of high school, so it was easy to relate to the whole high school theme (minus the super powers of course. )
And like I was saying earlier, a few posts ago, the soundtrack of those earlier years (Season 1 - 5ish) was nothing sort of perfection. I'll never forget the ending scene of the very first episode with Clark in the loft of his barn, imagining he's with Lana, but then is quickly brought back to reality as Lana is dropped off at her house after prom. Then queues the song "Everything" by Lifehouse as Clark thanks Lana, from a distance, for the dance they never had.
It's moments like those gives that give me goosebumps and it was then that I was hooked.
Wow man, your bringing back a lot of memories
Season 1 aired for me in my graduation year of High school, and my wife chose that Lifehouse Song as our "last Dance of the night" at our Wedding
I think you like the whole Clark and Lana Dynamic so much because that is what the show was mainly about for 6 outta 9 years, i like what they've done with Lois though....i am really liking how they are making her fit into his life more and more!!!
oh and the promo's you posted earlier are Awesome!!!, thanks for those
Im rewatching Season 9 too, i got three left before Friday
i can't believe you met Erica Durance......is she as Hot in person as she in on TV, im thinking YES!! and she looks so much better with her Darker hair now in these last few seasons instead of that blonde she had in earlier seasons.
Was Lois really intro'd in season 4....that early??
its funny that you have to warm up to lois, just shows how good the Clark\Lana connection was.......my Wife on the other hand always wanted Clark and Chloe together, and whenever they would hint at it she would get super excited but i always told her that it couldn't happen and she'd get mad at me and punch me in the arm
I think in those Promo's it is Lex, i can't see him not coming back for at least a few last season ep's, i hope he does ray

Entertainment Weekly reports that former Lois Lane Teri Hatcher ("Desperate Housewives") will play mom to Erica Durance's Lios Lane for "Smallville's" 10th and final season!
I know what you’re thinking: But Lois’ mom, Ella, is dead! Follow along now…
In episode 8, titled “Abandoned,” Lois discovers old videotapes of her mother. I think you can figure the rest out for yourself. Am I right?
Hatcher played Lois Lane for four years on ABC's "The New Adventures of Lois and Clark."
The new season kicks-off this Friday.
Eh, forget it. It's only a preview. I'll watch it.
NO DON't! It contains a MAJOR spoiler! Turns out Clark is an alien!!
