Sure did mate keeping an eye on how it does on old evil-bay
I do have a few bits of spare armour & a body im wondering if it be easier to get the rest of the loose bits from darren as he still has a good few sandie bits & helmets, The only problem is trying to get a squad leader back pack as it differs from the corporal ones toy anxiety has one but its not worth just buying the back pack for $10 & paying $35 shipping & customs
oh & the T-21 blaster If i could find one of those somewhere might be worth trying to cast it as it looks as if its just one solid piece???

i'd like to have about 4 or 5 sandies but not all the same ones, it looks like its just the corporal with black pouldron that is always showing up on ebay or onine in the UK .
Wondering if it be worth waiting out for this new DX version ? But that could be dec- jan before there available. Pre- orders for these seem to be around £75 the corporal's are going for about £100- £140 used & new
Are your spare backpacks the SS ones? If you have a spare squad leader one I'd buy it off ya mate if its not needed

there always is loads of sandie sergeants & corporals on the US ebay for decent prices well under £100 converterd to pounds but when you add shipping & customs it soon bumps up to around £140-£150 then you have cheeky parcelforce adding £8 clearance fee on top of that

There is a SS sandie corporal on play.com for £89 free postage i was tempted but i have 2 corporals would like a sergeant & squad leader but it looks like i'll wait & see how much these DX sandies will be when shops over here get them in ?

Oh thanks for the heads up but they dont ship "Gadgets" to Ireland.

EDIT: (Turns out I cant buy him any way and the only one they have is a factory re-furb and he is damaged.)

And because they ship from Jersey, I get hit with Customs and VAT.

Thats a very good price for him though.

I think I paid £89 plus shipping from Forbidden Planet for my Squad Leader.

I might know somewhere online doing the the DX Sandie at a good price I am just waiting on him to come back to me with the cost of the DX Sandie and the Dewback so I will let you know.

He still doesnt know if he will be stocking them as Sideshow are very slow to get back to him.

Its a nightmare trying to find anywhere over here selling any sideshow stuff, i have came across tiny shops by chance searching on google but majority of the time the stuff they list has been long sold out which dont help

I got lucky a few times on Amazon.com and found a place called Little Monkey Costumes.

I got Tatooine Farmer Luke and Bespin Luke for less than £90 delivered from the US to Ireland no customs or VAT or anything. I guess you get lucky sometimes but these Sandies are the bane of my life for the last 3 months or so.

I will keep you up to date when I get a price for the DX figure.
