cheers mate I have one from mine. I am interested to see how they cast up. Cheers from the really kind offer mate.

:)

Cheers Unsung I appreciate any guidance and advice mate. I have tried 2 piece moulds in the past but lack the skills or knowledge. I am using a very crude method. But it seems to eliminate any air pockets.

I will try to show what I mean with pics when the mould cures....

But please keep the advice coming... I am still very new to this casting stuff... but I love it!!!!

It doesn't need to be done as a two part mold, but just adding what I showed should save you some silicone and money.

If you wanna borrow any of my koto scout bits Dorgs let me know :peace

Love the koto stuff Cbob, I will see how this stuff comes out... we should now by tomorrow!!!!!!!

I have been working on The ppodooh squad.. well the squad leader... been off me twig on nail varnish remover!! Hell its nearly a good a couple of glasses of sherry and a bed bath before my afternoon nap :)

the marmit sandies are outstanding. But the armour has been so badly stained by the paint we have decided to re-spay it... kill or cure I guess. Just finished washing it and nipped out to the shed under the cover of darkness and popped a bit of spay on some of the armour... tomorrow will tell. :)

Well the first csats are out of the scout moulds and so far so good. The shoulder bells are tip top.
the bicecep pads are amazing!!!
the chest front and back.... lovin it.

The beuty of the armour is it thin!! it is the same as the hasbro, but not rubbery! but it can still easily bend.

So chuffed. I need to keep a close track on the cost. but so far so good. It should be less than £0 of silicon and about peanuts of resin.

So I believe that it will be really cheap!!! Like £25 max!!! maybe less!!!!!

If I can keep fails to a minimum and moulds simple we are laughing.. its just my time and every one knows I cheap!! LOL.

The Marmit troopers were really nice, I loved them. This is the Sandtrooper I did years ago.

Maybe one day I'll get the Marmit Sandtroopers, TIE Pilot, and AT-AT Driver. But have too much coming these days and my medical bills also are an impediment in starting to look after them. Too bad Marmit never got into making Vader. That might have been the ultimate Darth Vader figure.

There are some pictures floating around of Marmit's Vader prototype. He was pretty massive.

Mark, that Biker Scout Armor is looking great mate. Its very clean looking.

I also really like the Marmit helmets. COUGH!! Mark, you should cast those up.:D
