I personally think Marmits are the best Troopers. The medis which I used to adore are just a little to small, The SS dont get me started on them grrrrr, so many mods you have to do to get em looking pretty.

Now AndreTK421, about Marmits. To make them look as nice as Dorg's you will need a SS or True Type slim body, and SS trooper hands. An SS Trooper blaster is nice too. The blasters they come with are nice, but SS blasters are much better. The hands aren't very good on the Marmits, and the body isn't very good at all. You may want to mod a better holster on the Marmit too.

Totally G, marmit mods I would do:

replace body with a TT, I use regulars as the armour just needs warming and it slips over the hops ok.

cut the moulded hans off and replace with SS ones

replace the blaster

cut the feet off the shoes

replace the holster

and you have a hell of a trooper.

As for the sideshow troopers well I will not go off on one to much but the mods I do on mine are:

replace the flipperty flooperty BOOBS body

boil and bend the chest armour

trim the tops of the thighs (far toooo long)

trim the bottom of the shins

replace the body with a TT slim (Chuffin cost a bomb and you need to mod the thighs and calve to get the armour on.

They other issue with swapping the SS floopppppyy bodies is that you then can not straighten the leg as the armour fouls on the knees so you have to dremel em down!!! For me I like my figures to free stand ad not have to be supported... my BOOBS doolies are for playing with

I do wish more of them could be free standing I agree I like to pose mine all the time they are always in a different position monthly unles I really like the pose they are in then I might leave them longer

You can really see a difference in the armor shaping for the legs and forearms.

I will be working on that next week I hope. I really wanted to get some other stuff done like the space marines and paint up Chakaman new baby boy an R5 unit Plus get a speeder bike done for Deathstalker... then its look out speeders.
