I've been so focused on thurs getting here, completely spaced out the preview. Sometimes bad things happen when I think aloud.

Today's the big day....or at least today we get the info we've [those of us who are enlightened collectors ] been waiting for. I really hope you guys predicting a $400-450 price are wrong....if not, this will be the 1st, and last piece to this collection.

I think people will realize that around $400 is a fair price for something this big and detailed. Its not far off of what the Cave Troll was 10 years ago and i wouldn't expect to pay $300 for this thing after seeing it. I hope we see some more Uruks from this game looking at the designs thats what I would expect to see. Otherwise, I don't expect this to be more than what it is single piece as that was the impression I took from asking about it.

Yeah see if they did some armored Orcs Id be more inclined and as much as I wanted a Troll, at this moment theres others things on my radar now. As far as LOTR goes, I love all the creatures, but the Orcs are at the top of my list, especially in armor. I do agree that after seeing it, a $400+ price tag is fair.

Yeah see if they did some armored Orcs Id be more inclined and as much as I wanted a Troll, at this moment theres others things on my radar now. As far as LOTR goes, I love all the creatures, but the Orcs are at the top of my list, especially in armor. I do agree that after seeing it, a $400+ price tag is fair.

Orcs would do quite well and they will as we get them because people like the look and they won't be much more than the standard figure. I expect the ES on this to be in the 300-500 range and the cost @ $400.

Those would be cool. Outside of the trims I could see them doing the main villain if the game since he's pretty cool looking.

Pics are up....@ $324.99 Wow!!! I was really expecting it to be in the $400s now I gotta rethink this because thats a pretty good price in my opinion. Dammit, so much stuff coming out. The pics didnt load for me, I got red X's so not sure if that was just my work blocking photos again or what, but damn.

Well that's just lovely.

Sideshow, I hate you. You just couldn't allow me to live in peace, could you? No, you had to go and price this beast so far into the "I can't pass it up" range that even those who have been doing their best to show resolve end up "caving" (get it? caving? ).

And to make matters even worse, you skip the NRD?? That's like waving a free candy bar in front of someone who struggling to lose those pesky extra pounds.
