Well everyone I have some great news. I am Cancer free for now!!!!!!!!!! However, I do have a medium size hiatal hernia, and Barrett's esophagus with no dysplasia at this time. I am told that quite the lengthy portion of my esophagus has Barrett's about 8 to 9 cm. That means an Endoscopy every 6 months for me for now. They don't know if my voice will ever fully come back or not, Only time will tell.

Well that us GREAT news followed by bad news situation, but in the end now it is all about coping. Were the Dr.s able to give you some suggestions about how to deal with it through diet and medications. I have Crohn's so I know what it is like to have to deal with problems of the GI system. Can I suggest a food and drink journal so you can monitor what bothers throwt the most??
