The thing is the look to me looks cool but I don't get why they ____ with stuff like that all the time.

Because they are creatively bankrupt, and get by by moving from one "shocking event" to the next, killing off everyone and bringing them back to life so they can kill them again in a few years in another cheap money-grab.

I miss vintage Stan Lee so much :(

More truth than fiction I would say.

It's all about the writers. Mark Millar can pull off Civil War, Greg Pak comes along with Planet Hulk, and Ed Brubaker pulls off the death and rebirth of Cap amazingly well. Then there's Alex Ross and Krueger's Earth X (probably the best Marvel book of all time). The good stuff's there; you just have to dig.

The new group will be called FF but I doubt that it'll stand for "Fantastic Four" since Reed's little think tank compromising of the 2 Richards kids, 3 intelligent moloid children, a teen member of the Power Pack, a smart Dragon Man & a young clone of Wizard. Artie & Leech as well.

Though I do kinda agree that Spidey is in every book now like Wolverine & Deadpool but it does kinda make sense, being one of Johnny's closest friends for him to kinda take his spot.

For the people whose already judging that the book would "suck" how can you say that when you probably haven't even picked up an issue of the Fantastic Four in ages?
Striking down an idea even before giving it a chance, how moronic is that?!

"A teenager with spider like powers?!
That won't ever work!"

Ignorance is bliss...

I really wonder how big a portion of our collecting community still read comics. I'm thinking pretty small.

I read them when I have the time. Have always stuck by FF through good and bad. But my tastes have matured over 25 years of collecting. More following writers, more Vertigo etc., and less superheros. But I do have about 6000 comics to get rid of now...

And they killed my favorite Marvel character. And say it is permanent! :(

Nothing is permanent, especially in comic books.
& as far as maturity you should try & pick up the last few arcs that Hickman did with the Fantastic Four, you might be pleasantly suprised.

That's a good point. I've read much of the Brubaker Cap stuff, and it is as good as anything comic-wise I've read in ages. The premise behind it sucks, and reeks of money-grabbing gimmick (Bucky returns from the dead, Cap dies, Bucky takes over as Cap), but he made it work. So who knows? As stupid as making Spidey a member of the FF sounds, maybe the writer will make it work.
