It's been confirmed a few days ago by Museum Replicas and they're going to introduce them soon, probably at SDCC...

I almost bought the 40s Heater Shield from them a few months ago for what I thought was dirt cheap ($250 shipped), but couldn't do it, especially with the potential that this new design has.

I know this may sound ignorant, but this can't be THAT hard to replicate with a high degree of quality. It's a bunch of colored circles and a stars, made of metal.

The comic shield is, this has raised sections on the front and different handles as well. They'll find a way to ruin it...
