So who's buying BILLY from Predator 1?

Still undecided on Billy, Dutch and Pred definitely. I really liked Billy's character but a repaint is going to be a pain in my ass. Shame as I was really looking forward to this figure after seeing the initial shots.

I want a Blaine as of yesterday though!

I wouldn't see the point in doing that, not without a repaint.

However I think any big predator fanatic, rather than just a casual fan, would be mad not to buy this figure. As a big fan of Aliens I deeply regret not buying Hicks, Vasquez and Apone because they didn't have the likenesses.

Yeah, I know. Sorry about that but at least mine was a poll and I was genuinely interested in the demand for Billy at this price and his sculpt!

I'm not great at painting but my previous attempts satisfy me enough so I'm really looking fwd to painting Billy.

No problem mate. It's just that I like these figures so much I'm reading every thread. I voted pass on Billy though. It's funny because no matter how much camo they put on him and how blonde his hair is, they are still using his likeness. So that means they sculpted him anyway without his permission

i think all the camo and blonde hair makes him look so much younger than Sonny in Predator.....maybe they can still get away with it.

The only Billy I will ever get is the "Battle Damaged Billy" that comes with the Predator.

Dillon dies , the rest runnng here the scream. Dutch looks down and thinks to himself " were not going to make it out of here alive ".
Billy realises this too and throws his gun , then the bad ass soundtrack kicks in showing that Billy wont go down without a fight.
Dutch shouts " Billy !. Billy !. Lets go !. ".

Billy completely ignores him , taking off his vest and ripping off his necklace he stands his ground and waits for his enemy as if to signal that he would not be defeated and would fight the predator to the death.
He slices his own chest and gets ready to battle the predator.

He loses but then again so does everyone else except Dutch.

Yes this is all true. However that entire sequence was probably the gayest scene in cinematic history. I would love to see someone slice themselves without making a single grunt.

If I were Editor that scene wouldn't have existed. Cheesy!

Pretty much my take on it. He just stood there like a coward and let the Pred have his way with him. He only had his blade in hand so the pred would come and take him. If he really wanted a piece of the Pred I would have imagined he would have picked a more suitable place to fight. After all he was a trained special forces soldier not a moron. Nope, he stood out in the open and yelled like a ^^^^^ because he truely feared the Pred. He gave up. Plain and simple. Hell he even gave up before that when he told Dutch "We're all gonna die.". He had no fight in him. Hell the woman had more fight in her.
