I like this Egon better than Blitzway.

Also looks like the gear is superior, especially the packs with all the additional light effects.

Yeah, the different lighting options are pretty cool, though personally I don't care much at all for light up gimmicks you'll use 2-3 times then never think about again.

Translation: Kara can't wait to start the thread for the ladies.

Is this truly GBII? They have 1984 listed.... not 1989.

Well the Ego suit is from GB 2, right? Venkman's is from the first film, though.

It would appear they're marketing them as GB1, but those details just happen to be from the second film is all lol.

I'm so not versed on GBII. But I don't really want GB's in suits... as fun as it is to see.

Just want the guys in their gear. So now maybe I'll get Venkman and Stantz from BW and this Egon from SS (just to mix it up). I have a feeling the BW single packs will be going for $200 or less down the road.

I'm not too bothered if the proton packs are from II, since I've never noticed much difference in them anyway.

As long as it's not those goofy "slime blowers" from the second movie, that's good enough for me.

I missed out on a PO for the BW Egon so this may be cheaper and turn out better, right?

I was only buying Egon anyway, so I'll be dumping that for this one.

I'm enjoying seeing Dave proven wrong when threw out all sorts of accusations against Soldier Story.

Hmm. I already have the BW Dr. 3 pack on PO, but I kind of like the idea of using the SS Spengler and Venkman in their gear and the BW Stantz and Zeddemore (if having all 4).

I do think I like the packs better on these.

Edit: I think the die cast packs are the only thing I like better. I like the expression on this Spengler sculpt more, but I actually think the BW overall likeness is better. Same with Venkman (sans the expression, as it's basically the same).

I haven't bought a Soldier Story piece in years.... but they did have a problem with small heads.

Egon definitely looks more on point from Soldier Story than Blitzway, but Venkman looks meh. As much as I like the Slimmer in the four pack, I might hafta piece my ideal set together.

Not if Blitzway and Soldier Story just end up cannibalising eachother's sales to a point where neither of them are successful enough. Hot Toys wins there, no?

Possible, as I imagine the market for GB figures is rather small. So that will hopefully force each to up their game or lower their price.

I'm guessing will never see a Stantz from Soldier Story.
