IW looks like every Avengers/MCU flick we've already seen.

Bad guy (this time purple dildo) comes to earth.
Good guys defeat him.

Valid points but TFA nor TLJ looked or felt any different from SW material pumped out 35+ years ago.

I'll probably be able to add Solo to that list.

I didn't notice them "trying" with TLJ but I haven't seen RO yet. Need to give that one a watch eventually.

What many will claim:

SW is comforting childhood parental love.

Those who didn’t get that from TLJ will be running to Solo seeking to quickly end their emotional abandonment.

I’m looking forward more to the Han Solo trailer than IW.

I don’t agree with that RO was a nostalgia fueled exciting romp and DiFabio has shown just how much TLJ aped ESB/ROTJ.
