Why are they censoring and [emoji357]ing TLJ thread? Because of political discussions? Can’t they just move it to the Sandbox? I’ve seen worst language and verbal alerications in a Rainman thread

I haven't thought of the TLJ thread closure as 'censorship' - I'm glad to see the back of it. The film was getting far more discussion than it deserved. The Bladerunner thread has seen a bit of a resurgence and damn right it should. Far better film.

Guys, let’s get real. No one is censoring Star Wars threads. And Disney certainly isn’t breathing down anyone’s neck here. We are a speck of dust in the vast scope of things.

The simple fact is, a certain verbose member, who’s no longer with us, kept spouting pointless drivel. Whether it was all political in nature, I couldn’t rightly say. I tried to avoid most of his nonsense. However, quite a lot of it seemed like it was indeed getting political, as of late, and that’s one of the reasons the mods got fed up and closed the thread.

Maybe once things have settled down and people’s heads have cooled, they’ll reopen it. Coercing a retort from them isn’t going to help though.

Just something I’ve picked up on while lurking recently. Seems to be an underlying hostility going around. The mods are just doing their job. Sure, it sucks we can’t post in the TLJ thread for the time being. I’m sure we’ll all live.

So one of the most eloquent and strongest forum members and master detractor of TLJ was banned?

What exactly is happening on this forum? Are the mods blatantly trying to reduce this board to bull**** small talk and meaningless debates over coupon codes?

The spirit of forum exchange is passionate argument. Spazz was superb at making points and keeping convos respectful. #SpazzForForumPresident actually became a thing here for a reason.

Its a damn shame that this is where we're at now in the Sideshow realm. Censored, PG-heavy, everyone must suck that Disney **** propaganda.

Eloquence was about the only thing he had going for him. Near the end there, his ramblings were wholly unnecessary. It was like he was trying to get banned.

Anyway, he was very subliminally hostile. If you couldn’t see that... well, I dunno what to tell you. I can’t even count the number of posts where he very nearly personally attacked several members. And his retorts were almost always unwarranted. No one singled him out and spat in his face. That I could tell anyway.

I do have seen worst fights in the custom sections and video game section. Spazz is nothing compared to the abuse ive seen from customizers or videogamers. Specially when it comes to serious issues like money or items owed. At least spazz didnt rob anybody lol. Spazz was too big for this forum. He was dropping too many red pills, a prophet for the modern era lol, controversial people like that will always be taken down. But in the future their words will always last
