Crows, I had the same thought. So many people left out of post :lol

Man I really wanted to psychologically decimate that statement. I mean the creator also made transgendered people so....Guess I wont get to now.

I personally liked how he had to include that he was anally penetrating his "woman" after lifting weights. :rotfl

His desperate attempt to convince us of his masculinity is hilarious.

Yeah, I still don't understand why Khev likes TLJ. It goes completely against his mostly solid opinion on film and also against his character. I believe he genuinely loves SW and my theory is that he [sadly] wants to love TLJ out of some misplaced desire to support the franchise no matter what.

For most people it's simple: to ruin Luke Skywalker is to ruin the movie. That's what Johnson did and That's why 99.9% of people on this planet hate TLJ.

unless....

See if I was just going to support the franchise no matter what then I'd be defending the prequels, Clone Wars, Rebels, the decision to recast Han Solo and everything else. But I only like the *good* stuff. :lecture

And I'll tell you SNIKT I actually appreciate the fact that you're more rounded in your cinematic preferences and don't merely flock to the latest popcorn/event movie and nothing more. I think it's too bad that you were apparently so sold on your own personal fan theories that you haven't been able to see that what Johnson did with Luke was every bit as gutsy and more importantly poignant as what Mangold did with Logan and Xavier, if not moreso.

You know that has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Johnson's treatment of Luke is unacceptable. Even Hamill himself couldn't endorse it (with a paycheck attached). I'm all for bold, brave approaches to these studio pictures, as long as they're good.

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25th, 2018)

The more I think about it the more I see that Johnson never understood who Luke was. Hamill was right. Luke would never just give up on everything like he did. If he could see some good in Vader who was no doubt way more evil than Kylo Ren then he surely knew that Ren could be saved also.

Rian Jhonson didnt even understand the ending of return of the jedi or why Luke when to save his dad.

he probably doesnt understand why Vader killed the emperor or why luke refused to kill his dad.

im certain that he doesnt understand the story behind the action and effects. he probably saw the movies and thought "OMG LASERS!!!!!!!!!!"

he truly is michael bay

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25th, 2018)

Johnson understood Luke just fine. People often change after 30 years, especially on account of profound emotional trauma. To ignore that fact is to simply demand that Luke be forever frozen in some kind of "Disney-fied" trance of heroic perfection. That might be great for cartoons or something but I'm glad that isn't what we got on film.
