Nothing like a 45 second teaser the night before the full trailer is aired in the AM.... I guess Disney didn't want to pay NBC the money for a full 2 min spot during the Super Bowl. Not a good sign if they're looking to save on marketing costs. I guess they expect people to watch Good Morning America on their own network the very next morning, afterall that's what DVR's are for. And of course the news people on GMA will be in awe of it. "WOW, looks amazing! ".

It didn't show much. Not enough to say good or bad. At least I saw a real Star Destroyer and real Stormtroopers. Good enough for me after TLJ. It's already more SW that the ST. I'll wait till tomorrow to judge. IW commercial still easily outshined the Solo teaser.

Yeah, the truck looked lame. Not muh Star Wars.

That was the only thing. That's the trouble with prequels made many years after an original - trying to make things look like an earlier design, even though the more up to date designs were from the late 1970s.

That much was very apparent with the sleekness of the ships in TPM.


Everything else looks promising.

It at least looked good visual wise.

But didn't show enough to tell if it's good or bad. Certainly not enough to say Loved It or Hated It!

Netflix for Star Wars from here on out though.

Everything else looks promising.

Initially, I didn’t understand Lucas’ decision to make the ships so elegant looking. However, if you think about it... they had been in a suspended state of relative peace. The Empire hadn’t corrupted the galaxy yet, with its displays of power and show of force. Even the Federation ships, who were a meager threat by comparison, had a bit of lavishness to them.

Granted, I think part of it was also Lucas going a bit overboard, as he sometimes does.

Visuals are good. Just Chewy looks meh-new-trilogy-like. Still i'm not confident about story being any good.
