I'm not saying it couldn't happen but the original Falcon always gave me the impression that it was much older. I found that to be much cooler; it's kind of the underdog ship as Crows said.

But eh it's just a movie so who really cares. I've already chosen to basically just acknowledge the OT and nothing more anyways. [emoji16][emoji38]

Maybe it'll be revealed that Han let Dirty Mike and the boys have at it a few times to explain the Falcon's condition.

It's not like that doesn't happen in a post-Rogue One Star Wars universe. You know it.

In German "Ehren" means "to honor" - so the guy's name literally translates as "to honor the Reich." Not a joke.

Adds thematic weight to that scene where he's looking to join the Empire, right?

Well, "reich" also means rich, so a better translation would be "rich in honour", i.e. honorable.

This picture has me really worried after my minor concerns after seeing full teaser. No han vibe at all. At all. And this ship is way to new looking to support a story line that at best is 15 BBY

This might as well be a reboot. How did they not get that other guy who is a dead ringer for young Harrison?

Lando probably used the Falcon as a pleasure craft and, ever the smoothy, kept it in immaculate condition. Then Han got his mitts on it and started smuggling.

Another tidbit:

“As it turns out, the younger Han was closer to the soft-hearted man we saw at the end of the original trilogy, since star Alden Ehrenreich described his character as “more of an idealist” than we’re used to. He wants to be a key figure in the criminal underworld, but has a nice streak that sets him back.”

So soft hearted Han confirmed, he’ll become the guy we know by the end. Big tragic ending is a go!

A couple more predictable points:

“The spinoff will show the fateful first meetings Han has with Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover). Interestingly, Han and Chewie won’t instantly become best friends, as it’ll take some time before Chewie completely trusts Han.”

“The main difference between Lando and Han is that Lando “likes rules” because he knows how to work them to his advantage, while Han tries to get away with breaking them. And as evidenced by the squeaky clean Millennium Falcon, Lando has “particular tastes” in life.”
