my mistake I knew it was something but I always referred it as Leia's disguise

Looks like we've gone from "tropical beach world" in RO to "windswept Oregon beach world" in Solo.

My brother bought a brand new 2015 pickup truck that he uses for his job in construction and on a ranch and it looks more banged up and dirty than the Falcon in A New Hope. Things get worn out real quick when it’s a work vehicle, believe me.

I think people who said that they couldn't believe how much the falcon had aged in 10 years most likely lived very sheltered lives where there is always someone taking care of the house and car or they changed vehicles frequently.
Back when I was in production we got a truck for a drama series that took about 6 months to shoot. The truck was brand new at the beginning of the shoot. By the end of the shoot it looks like it has been through hell and back.
And since it is a production vehicle, it has to go to places people normally will never go, it was loaded with heavy equipment and obviously there is plenty of scratch and dent due to the constant loading and unloading.
Heck, even a one year old smartphone can look like **** if not taken care off properly and smartphone is actually one of those things people actually are particularly careful about.

I'm not saying it couldn't happen but the original Falcon always gave me the impression that it was much older. I found that to be much cooler; it's kind of the underdog ship as Crows said.
But eh it's just a movie so who really cares. I've already chosen to basically just acknowledge the OT and nothing more anyways. [emoji16][emoji38]
