That would be incredible if it got shelved. They fired two directors, then brought in Mr. Safety, and still there's problems?

If that were to be true, Kennedy's days would be so numbered. I could see Disney announcing that Kennedy is stepping down before Summer.

But there's no way they'd "shelve" this. I mean, how bad would it have to be to get shelved? I mean, as a barometer, TLJ got released.

Disney didnt shelf John Carter and they knew they were going to lose hundreds of millions before it came out. they were okay with the movie coming out despite the huge loses.

If you've already spent $400 million on Solo, you put it out and hope it makes some of that money back. If it's shelved you lose all of it. But they do have to consider the damage to the brand. Don't think there was a John Carter brand that could be damaged there.

Kennedy is determined to shift the tide of Star Wars fans to more females than males. Good luck with that.

Perhaps her plan is to drive away as many male fans as possible and achieve (gender) balance to the fandom that way...*strokes chin*

They wouldn’t really shelve it, but a December delay could still be possible (which they should have done). I doubt it at this point. Only reason for them to do another trailer at this point is to have a tickets now on sale” advertising push.

The toy release is also next week so a marketing push is a plus. Hasbro’s theory about TLJ toys underperforming is that they launched too far in advance of the movie and sort of diluted the excitement.

I dont even care about TLJ anymore i just want pacific rim 2 to FAIL. I dont even care what happens to Kennedy or Rose or these toys. I really dont care because Pacfic rim 2 was so awful it took all my hatred away LOL
