Howard has confirmed that a movie about Solo was not a Disney idea it came from GL/Kasdan/Kennedy a few years before the Disney purchase.

In canon comic Han and Luke once smuggled herd of nerfs on the board, they even got those animals in cocpit. I can imagine it wasnt the first time for Han.

Received an email from the local 15/70 IMAX theater that Solo tickets went on sale last night. For the first time ever I didn't jump at preordering seats for a Star Wars movie and instead decided I'd just wait till today. Placed orders for me and the kids for Saturday afternoon and only about 10 seats in the massive auditorium had been reserved. That absolutely was not the case for Infinity War which I preordered the very hour tickets went up.

It'll be interesting to see how big of an audience are willing to show up this time around.

EDIT: For the heck of it I pulled up the 7:00 pm showing for Thursday the 24th and see that half the auditorium is already filled so maybe it'll do all right.

In this case I'm going to read everyone's comments about this movie because I still have ZERO interest in it. If it sounds fun and good maybe I'll change my mind.

The "no rush" attitude towards this movie ain't gonna help its opening numbers.

Going to be very interesting to see how Solo chugs along. Can't wait.

Just for the record, prior to seeing IW, Solo would have been my #1 most anticipated movie of the summer.

Hmmmm i’m just not feeling the need to rush and see this.

I’m taking it slow this time instead of the first showing i’m doing the second showing which starts 15 minutes after the first showing at the next theater down the hallway.

See, that 15 minute delay in cash could affect the overall boxoffice once that cutoff comes.... then fifteen minutes latter here comes ol' Jye's ticket money... oh too bad, too late... FAIL at the boxoffice. Jye's fault. *mic drop*
