THIS IS THE PROBLEM RIGHT HERE. Do you see what your saying ?? Of course you don't care or want to hear it because your probably straight and you like assuming everyone is and you don't care to hear about. This isn't about meeting people and saying hey I'm gay! This is about presenting characters on screen in a story. You sound so damn selfish. Sexual orientation arises in almost EVERY MOVIE. Duh , your just seeing it as a problem now because it's more diverse. And yes the media does blow everything out of proportion but I'm talking the movie for the movie. "First it was Poe and Finn". Yes Facebook questioned it but nah it was not addressed or shoved down anyone's throats in the movie.

You called me out personally based on my comments. And ASSUMED I was straight. You did exactly what I said. If I stated I was gay (of which I am not) or had a lesbian sister you would've immediately taken my comments differently. Deny it if you want, but thanks for proving my point.

Teach people through life to be open minded. Not through movies and TV shows. Instead we right away have to know how to"classify" these characters in order to relate to them. Sad

Meh, I don't even care about the social issues. I disliked TLJ just because I thought it was a terrible movie and this quote from a review basically sums up how I feel about Solo:

If you’re going to go to the trouble of re-casting an iconic role and delving into a character’s (mostly) known history, there needs to be a damn good story in place. Absent that, as is the case with Solo, it’s hard to see the resulting product as anything other than a money-grab – a crass attempt by a studio to milk the popularity of a brand for maximum profit.

No superhero no character , nothing like that gay. And THATS sad for me. I couldn't get an action figure that was gay because of people like you. " we don't need to know there sexual orientation " --- maybe your sister doesn't care but clearly the times are changing and people DO care. So to be honest with you , to hell with Star Wars if that's what it means to you.

And no I don't mean a rainbow action figure with a big ass or something. I mean a character that I knew was gay ..... and you know was a superhero or a Jedi or something. Geez so thick around here.

My good deed? You know what man, in a few years all this is going to change and your either going to have to stand your miserable ground or your going to have to suck it up and accept it.
