That it did, but that puts Disney in an awkward boat, I can't imagine how much money that would make them loose where they have already been shooting for awhile now. Han Solo just might be the most expensive movie ever made if that happens.

Fun fact: The gal who played Jan on the American version of "The Office" was originally cast as Marty's girlfriend in BTTF but when Stoltz got the boot she had to be replaced too because she was so much taller than Fox.

That's the first thing I thought with all this 'on-set acting coach' news being spread around. Seems ripe for a total reshoot. Worked out great for BTTF.

Except Zemeckis didn't get fired.

That's true. And he was a far better filmmaker than Team Lord/Miller or Howard for that matter.

Kennedy is doing an admirable job with an almost impossible task. Mainly due to people like us who have put a "space opera" as our Holy Grail of films. I mean seriously ....step back at think about it...SW was a really silly idea...its not well acted....or well written...it was just a typical story with new special effects.

The Story really became Grail to most of us in ESB with the new world and effects...and of course the M Knight like twist at the end.

Plus, is has been ingrained in our minds since childhood. There is no winning , no films they could make that can out do these facts.

I am just happy we are getting entertaining stories....although basic popcorn stuff....that have decent , non cringey dialogue , with good effects and a decent pacing. Adding to the world I spent a great many hours in my head as a child.

I never expected anything more.....you cannot recreate your childhood.

I love Grace's commentaries. She's just like one of us and really knows her stuff. I hadn't even thought of the Acting Coach being a warning shot to keep the cast in line in case they were also thinking of rebelling. Damn.

Apparently Michael J.Fox was always their first choice but he couldn't commit due to his commitment with Family Ties back then.

When they fired Stolz, they actually have to shoot Michael J. Fox around his Family Ties schedule
