The Phantom Zone. A place devoid of Legos.

LOL actually no. I watched a few Harry Potter movies on DVD years after they came out - wasn't all that impressed. Weird thing is that superhero movies never really starting appealing to me until I got older. Never saw the Raimi SM movies when they came out. About four months ago I gave all three of 'em a watch for the first time since Homecoming comes out soon - liked the first and second ones, didn't care for the third.
Ok seriously now, tell me,
What are your opinions on citizen kane, metropolis, casablanca and gonewith the wind?
I watched TPM a month shy of my 19th birthday. I really loved going back to SW and had a blast with the combat scenes. Having said that, I knew leaving the theater that it was nowhere near as good as the OT.
Age definitely affects your perception a bit with films but not entirely.
*At age 7 I thought Masters of The Universe was amazing.

Never seen any of 'em in their entirety.
I thought Bayformers 2 was great...
Never seen any of 'em in their entirety.
Good points.
At age 13 I thought Bayformers 2 was great... took me the next three years to realize what a pile of turd that movie is.
Jesus crows! Don't scare me like that.Didnt u hate jaws?
Who hates Jaws?
Oh, boy. I could talk about my views on "home school vs. public school" forever. But I'll save that for another time...
Don't tell me you seriously believe that government rhetoric?
Nobody. crows just blew things out of proportion.
Jesus crows! Don't scare me like that.
Im going to have to.look up the thread, it was a while ago but chakor talked about not liking jaws and hating classics like Halloween and old horror movies in general
Dont deny it chakor....dont make me look up the thread lol
I will probably regret posting this as I've gotten a lot of s*** for my unpopular opinions in the past.
Remember, all of this is strictly my opinion - it doesn't mean I'm right. This is your last warning.
1. The Halloween, Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Friday the 13th, and Saw franchises are all weak and boring in terms of story/depth and can barely support their own weight. They're classics for a reason, but I don't understand the appeal at all.
2. Men in Black franchise > Star Wars franchise
3. Jaws is amazingly boring up until the final confrontation with the shark. But again, classic for a reason.
4. Ghostbusters II is an OK sequel.
5. MCU > DCEU (I guess that's not really unpopular, LOL)
As a side note pertaining to #1, I just don't understand the appeal of horror films in general. I can understand wanting some adrenaline rush, and I most certainly understand the appeal of monster films with great special effects (I.E., Aliens, Predator, Pumpkinhead, etc.), but films about generic slashers with knives, chainsaws, etc., literally bore me to tears. How do you enjoy a film if the goal of the film is to sicken and/or disturb the audience? It makes zero sense to me, LOL.
To anyone who may scoff at what I've written:
Here ya go.
Good points.
