PSN is gonna institute their own version of Gamerscores and Achievements.

Here comes the spiel for HOME...

Okay, the Living Game Spaces thing could be pretty cool (it integrates HOME with maps and areas from certain games to hang out with other PSN folks).

PSN Video delivery (kinda like Xbox Live & PSN today).

TV shows: $1.99 episode

Movie rentals: $2.99 - $5.99 ea

Movie purchases: $9.99 - $14.99 ea

Big thing is that they are portable. You can download a show or movie and also put it on your PSP.

No mention of Blockbuster whatsoever.

The 360 will have TONS of more movies available.

Have they really not unveiled anything new?

I guess I should rephrase for the hecklers in the bunch. Have they not shown anything that was a suprise?

I am not watching it. From what was posted though it sure sounds like it was a big part of their opening speech.

11:44: GTA: SA came along in year 4. Shadow of the colossus in year 5, God of War 2 in year 7. Interesting that they mentioned Ico along with FFX and GTA. Not exactly a big seller (although it's one of our favorite games ever). IBM is actually using the CEll processor to power its newest supercomputer .he's mentioning FOlding@home numbers

11:46: "If we stopped to ask consumers if they needed all this horsepower, they may have said no." He recalls Henry Ford's quote, "If I asked my customers what htey wanted, they'd have said a faster horse. Games like MGS4 aren't just exclusive to the Playstatin 3, they're only possible on the PlayStation 3"

11:47: Games like MGS4 on PS3 is a good reminder of what it means to have exclusive content

yes, but if you were watching it, you'd see that they only brought it up 2 to 3 times within a 2 minute span ;)

just like the live feed you provided :lol

My point wasn't the length of time they spent on it but the fact that they even went back to it in the first place. I thought it was kinda lame. It's like did you see what one game studio managed to pull off? In my eyes thats lame. I want to see what other studios are working on and about to pull off. Given the speech from what I was able to read it sounds like not much. E3 is to show what you got loaded in the barrel. Not what you managed to fire off in the past.

they opened the microsoft speech the same way...

"10:32 am PT: Please welcome, Don Mattrick, senior vice president of the entertainment biz. He welcomes us to the home of "fun and entertainment for everyone" "Good morning everyone, it's my privilege to welcome all of you to E3. Welcome to Xbox 360 -- home to the biggest blockbusters... the biggest sellers on 360: GTA4, Halo 3, Assassin's Creed... we proved without a doubt that 360 delivers the biggest and best hits for gamers."

10:33 am PT: "Franchises like Rock Band, Guitar Hero... the success of these titles proves that Xbox can deliver to EVERYONE. The question we get every day is: can we deliver to our fiercely loyal fans while continuing to transform the industry? The answer is yes, and today we'll prove how."

My point is they then backed it up with new stuff. Nevermind I could sit her and give you more reasons why I think it was lame but at the end of the day it is obvious that people just want to give me ^^^^ for sharing my opinion.:rolleyes: Which is equally as lame as Sony's apparent press conference.
