It's sad, but that's not exactly why you cry. It's the beauty of it...

And that takes up the trance effect a notch or two. I just wish he had sampled the actual strings rather than doing them with a synth.

Yep, that's a good one. Trent Reznor really dominates when it comes to this sort of thing.

Today's entry is Timelessness by Fear Factory.

It is best appreciated when played back to back with the song before it on the album. Resurrection is very uplifting, so it makes an awesome contrast with Timelessness. Enjoy.

Ænima is such a great album. Even though their music is heavy, a lot of it does give you that melancholy feeling, especially Ænima, I used to listen to it in bed with my headphones on!
