I would continue to watch this show every week even if Clay dies. This show definitely won't go on forever and it will be a breath of fresh air if he does.

:lecture:lecture:lecture :exactly:

Plus, even with Clay dead, they still have the whole cartel mess, Otto's & Juice's ratting and Hale's property development to deal with, so there's still a bunch of the story left with or without Clay.

There is most definitely a lot of ground left to cover. No matter what happens in the finale, next season will find the club completely shattered. If Potter is successful, the club will most definitely be over, I really don't know what happens there, but seeing as how there is a next season, I have to believe they'll wrangle their way out from his trap.

And even if they do survive, Jax will leave, Opie's out, Juice and Bobby are in prison. . . so the Sons will be Chibs, Tig, Happy, and Filthy Phil ????

I don't remember where I was reading it, but they were saying it was heavily hinted that Ethan Zoebelle was one of the investors in the Charming Heights project. It would be interesting to see him come back with his white power friends and completely push SOA out of Charming, and then maybe have Jax be forced to come back and help his club and his home. . . have Jax leave Tara and his kids behind to mirror his father, and reinforce the tragic hero role of Hamlet.

One of the themes of Hamlet is the whole pyrrhic victory thing, so maybe what happens is that Jax does get his wish, and leaves Charming with his family, but in doing so it completely dismantles the club, and allows Charming to be taken over by corporate interests and then we see Jax dealing with that guilt. I think we'll have a lot clearer picture of what will happen once Gemma finally gives Jax those letters. It sounds like Gemma will dump her buckets of truth on Jax.

So yeah. . . there's a lot of mileage left in the show. :p

Didn't he kinda burn that bridge though when he cut the deal with the Mayans?

Perhaps.

We saw in the show that there are different levels of white supremacists. There were some that were still working with him to facilitate the deal, and others that weren't. Rollins killed the guy who was with him. They were both aligned with white power, but obviously one was not at stringent in his beliefs.

Though I assume, if Zoebelle started waving his money around, they'd forget a lot of what he did.

And it seems to be that we never really knew what Zoebelle's true beliefs were. It seems liked white power was just a means to an end. Now that I ponder that storyline more, he most likely wasn't a white supremacist, he was just using them for muscle. He was an informer, so I'd imagine he would sell out just about any clique he got involved with and move on to the next one. Who knows what drives a guy like that. . .

Wow I didn't know there was a thread for this. Opie finally gets sweet justice!!! Hell yeah K'kew! :nana:

How does jax just get "out"? I thought these clubs were essentially life commitments. You have to be voted out. And what happens to all his tats? Remember that other guy who got tossed out but kept the ink? They burned it off him with a blow torch. I don't think jax gets a new set of rules just because he's jax.

The guy got blow torched because he was kicked out. He was supposed to be Opie's getaway driver, but took off and Ope did the time. He was supposed to get the tattoos removed, but he "couldn't do it" so the club did it for him. Completely different set of circumstances.

If he leaves, he will probably just keep his ink covered, I believe that's the only real rule.

I don't think so. If you're out, you don't get to keep the tats. Same thing with Juice when the sherriff said they'll scrape his ink. You quit, you can't keep sporting club ink.

Apples and oranges. Juice was under the impression he'd be kicked out because he's black, a violation of club rules.

I know the guy that left SAMTAZ blacked out his tats, so Jax may choose to do that, but it's a moot point. . . he's not leaving ;)

lets get ready to ruuuuummmmmmbbbbbllllllleeeeeeeeee.................:lecture

tonights the night..............:yess:

aw hell yea. that was an epic episode. & much respect to tara.............great move. she's probably going to....
use copies of the letters implicating gemma & unser as blackmail so gemma wont stop jax from leaving.
