If I remember the story correctly, SooSooToys allegedly did something shady (I believe they stole/copied an Eleven head sculpt design for one of their releases and refused to compensate him for it), so after that OSK (who works with Eleven quite a bit) swore to never deal with them again.

Now that you mention it, I do vaguely remember some drama over the CW Constantine that SooSoo put out and an Eleven headsculpt that never got released.

Yeah, they were accused of stealing the sculpt from Eleven and proceeded to go on a weeklong tirade on social media saying Eleven stole it from them. A week of insults later, I actually thought it would lead to none of these sites working with them, but just OSK, which is understandable as he does do a lot of collaboration with Eleven.

Placed my order already. This figure looks great. If the head sculpt comes close to the prototype, this will be perfect. He will fit in so many displays, and I'm sure down the road in this phase he will at some point get introduced to spider-man. Would love to see them put out different suit packages for him down the road too.

I ordered too. The height of the figure and blood spatter really sold me. You could display this with Daredevil, just having battered one another.

Exactly! Love the blood spatter variant option. Even if HT was to release a Kingpin, doubt they do anytime soon or they would have went after this like Loki, at the earliest we would get it would be 2024. They would also never have the blood spatter option.

Yeah even with his appearance in Hawkeye I still can't see HT releasing this guy. Since they had multiple opportunities during his numerous appearances on the Netflix series and never even made a proto.

Hawkeye is easily the WORST D+ show. Not only did it just plain suck, but they completely ruined Kingpin on top of it! DISGUSTING!!!

I will definitely be picking up this figure since Disney will never give us a proper mature Kingpin in the future. And as for Hot Toys...if they ever made him (which they won't) they'll jack the price to $285 for a basic figure! Lose-lose all around!

Yeah, the end of that last episode...did not enjoy. I was actually loving all of it, especially the scene of Kingpin fighting Kate.

I don't believe Echo killed Kingpin. There is no way they would do in one of the greatest villains with a simple gun shot.

Let's not even talk about that mid credit scene.
