Anyone know what the deal was with that slave girl cutting Caesar's **** in the first episode?

It was actually his leg she was cutting. It was already explained when Caesar first entered the city in disguise - he had to give Spartacus evidence that he was a former slave and this was the mark which he 'cut off' as an act of defiance against the Romans.

On another note, I wish HT would make figures based on television characters. I mean, between the couple hundred Ironmen being made, could they not squeeze one little Spartacus or Game of Thrones figure in there?
I think certain television characters would sell much more than many of the movie-based figures they make anyway.
One thing I really love about this show is the costume design. The various armors are so interesting and unique.
Okay so I got a bit carried away with the pics
, but my point remains the same. These designs are so deserving of collectibles.

That ship sailed a long time ago. No company is going to invest in figures with this being the final season.

Seriously though that was the explanation for that scene. And it wasn't his nether regions she was working on, it was his thigh. I think we were meant to initially assume he was getting a bj....till you see the blood dripping and then we were meant to go 'WTF?'

On this series no force of nature is great enough to prevent a gratuitous sex scene.
There's been rumors STARZ might do a Caesar spin-off. Hope it happens! It'll focus more on his young rise to power as opposed to the older Caesar.
It's really too bad this is the last season because this one has been great. I feel like the writers have gotten a great stride now. Perhaps because it is the last season they've really found their fuel.
At least Game of Thrones will be back in a few more weeks!

This show has never been less than great IMO. One of very few that I will rewatch through the years.
Once this show is gone I will have nothing left to watch. I had to get rid of HBO so no more game of throwns for me.

I can't say I'm dying to see a Caesar spin-off, but that sounds like a better idea than that awful looking DaVinci show.

Awful looking Da Vinci show? What is so "awful" about it? I thought it looked pretty good from the first trailer.
I think a Caesar series is a great idea and I'd definitely like to see more of Todd Lasance, but I'd be open to any new series as long as it's made by the same crew that's behind Spartacus.
DAMN! Another magnificent episode of this ****ing awesome series. I swear this season is easily the best yet (though all seasons have been great).
I don't mind the nudity at all. This show is so great that it deserves the right to throw in some hot, steamy sex scenes.
And I'd just like to say, Ellen Hollman (Saxa) is drop-dead gorgeous.
