They shouldn't have split up their forces. Spartacus, according to history goes a bit crazy once he is informed of crixus death and sacrifices a bunch of romans in his honor. Although it shouldn't have been much of a surprise. Crixus only had an army of about 30k going up against legions on his attack on rome. Who knows how history would of changed if they stuck together. Show runners doing a good job with following history of the events all though not sure what was up with Julius Caesar getting uhm....they must be really thinking about the Caesar show because they are setting up some conflict for him to overcome in rome with all its "brutal" politics and war within the senate that ensues when he takes over

I would buy 1/6 scale but would consider statue if they were only thing available. The armor is sick and could make for some fantastic pieces. If they were available I would buy Spartacus, Crixus, Gannicus, and Caesar in a heartbeat especially if they had the likeness of the actors. With Spartacus either Andy or liam would do but I would prefer Andy

They would look good displayed near Leonidas and my roman general maximus figures. But I fear its a pipe dream unless someone here does some customs

We did Spartacus but its not randy
I would like to do Randy, contacted the producer. Lets see what happens

Do u mean Andy?? Who is Randy?? Its only been Andy Whitfield and Liam McIntyre right.

If u mean Andy and u get permission I am all in!! You can sign me up now. Wonder what armor u would chose as any of them from all seasons should be up for grabs even if Andy wasn't in them per say.

The last episode was my favorite of the season. It had heart along with the usual gratuitous sex, violence and gore. Sure it's not historically accurate and stylized up the yinyang, but they are following tentpole historical events and making it a fun ride. Andy was great and sorely missed, but I really like how Liam made the role his own so I consider them both to be Spartacus. Even the new Naevia grew on me a little. She's playing the role as written, although it would have been interesting to see how Leslie-Anne Brandt would have handled it. There have been some memorable characters throughout this series, gone but not forgotten Batiatus, Lucretia, Ilithyia. Oenomaus, Glaber, Varro, Barca and everyone's favorite sleazeball, Ashur. And yes, Saxa is gorgeous. Whoever casts the females in this show knows how to pick 'em. Would be nice to see a Caesar spinoff with political intrigue, Roman excess and of course more gratuitous sex, violence and gore. I've been contemplating getting the various AGI figures and headsculpts and having someone do some nice customs. I would be interested in 1:6 scale statues or dios if the character likenesses are there.

Ya I passed on the aci although I have considered purchasing the new Spartacus parade version with revised head sculpt. Especially after getting roman general and being so impressed with that figure. I just wish the likeness was a bit better and there were better armored versions that are more like what is worn in the show.

The last episode was indeed great. It sucks that there are only 2 more. Let's hope for a Caesar show announcement soon! Let's also hope we get a true 1/6 scale Spartacus based on the show at some point. The armor is just so sick and would look badass replicated in that scale. Come on you custom freaks make it happen lol!!

We all knew Crixus had to die, but at the hands of that pissant Tiberius was an end unbefitting the undefeated Gaul.

Just finished the episode and yeah I agree.

I'm not sure if Tiberius is a real historical character, obviously we know Crassus and Caesar can't be killed, but I'm hoping he gets whats coming to him - a very undignified end.

Great episode overall.

Pretty heartbreaking actually, all the goodbyes and then of course the deaths - no one mentioned that Agron (and presumably Naevia) were killed in this one aswell.

And Caesar getting raped by Tiberius?!! The ***k!!!

It appears
navia is not dead based on the preview for next week. They must let her live to deliver news of crixus death. That Caesar rape scene really caught me by surprise. You can be sure Tiberius will die in the next episode, Caesar will get his revenge!!

:slap of course, they mentioned sending Spartacus a message. I think they're doing a good job with Caesar, I can easily see myself watching him in a spin off series. Probably best he didn't personally kill either of our heroes Crixus and Agron in this series otherwise we'd be given reason to hate him from the off. Although...still 2 episodes to go...who knows. Hopefully he gets to kill Tiberius. :yess:

I understand theres no show next week. I am disappoint.

:lecture

And to be honest when I rewatch season 1 I'm going to find it wierd not seeing Liam McIntyre. Andy was great and ideally you would have the same actor all the way through, but under terribly sad circumstances, they made a great choice of actor to follow him in the role. IMO because of Liam the inevitable ending will tug the heartstrings just as much as if it were still Andy in the role. Helped of course by the fact we've had 2 full seasons to accustom ourselves to him.
