Goodbye Crixus and Agron. I can't help but think they deserved a better ending than at the hands of little man Tiberius.

Also, Tiberius asserting his dominance by raping Caesar. What the hell!

As far as I remember Tiberius is the son that help Crassus on the war against Pompei. It's possible that he will survive the show and won't see him die. If I'm mistaken please correct me.

I'm not sure if Tiberius is a real historical character, obviously we know Crassus and Caesar can't be killed, but I'm hoping he gets whats coming to him - a very undignified end.

Great episode overall.

Pretty heartbreaking actually, all the goodbyes and then of course the deaths - no one mentioned that Agron (and presumably Naevia) were killed in this one aswell.

And Caesar getting raped by Tiberius?!! The ***k!!!

I don't know what the historical particulars are on Tiberius, but he's got to die on the show. If he survives, it'll be a total downer.

His sons name was Publius Crassus not Tiberius. Also Publius was highly respected by Caesar, not what is being shown with the fake Tiberius character . Publius did fight at his fathers side but was a great warrior not the backstabbing childish type. He was young though but was said to be cunning and stoic for his age.

If Naevia hasn't been killed yet, I really hope she's the one to beat the **** out of him and take his life.

Even though its at its end, I see promise.

Oh god, yes. Honestly, I want collectibles from this series more than any other out there. Even more than my two beloved franchises, Alien & Predator.

I'd literally buy every character. Especially these guys:

Spartacus (Andy and Liam, but would prefer Andy if I had to choose)
Crixus (short and long-haired sculpts with armor to match)
Gannicus
Agron
Caesar (short and long hair sculpts)
Crassus
Batiatus
Varro
Oenomaus
Barca
Saxa

In all honesty though I don't think you'd have many sales with the characters of this series other than Spartacus and Crixus. Maybe Gannicus.

It really is a shame though. I love this series and the characters in it.

But we get GAME OF THRONES!!!!!

The following week will be great... Spartacus, GoT and Mad Men. Wooo HOO!!

Did I say that? I don't dislike GoT, I think its superbly made in every respect. Its just not my favorite. That has to go to Spartacus.

I think what they're doing with Tiberius is deliberately making him, a villain who I think they're allowed kill, our most hated bad guy for this final season. They can't kill Crassus or Caesar but an audience needs someone who can die and get their comeuppance. So its going to be Tiberius. While we might have preferred Crixus and Agron to fall at the hands of more worthy opponents they can't have Caesar do it because that would make us despise him - and they plan to build a show around him. Also Crassus will very likely be in that show aswell. These guys need to be in some way redeemable. No such need with Tiberius.

We'll see. Apparently theres no episode next week though.

I've seen Game of Thrones and its good, I just don't enjoy it as much as Spartacus. I loved season 2 of Spartacus pretty much the same as season 1 and Gods of the Arena so for me its been consistent. Hopefully the final season won't feel too crammed and rushed.

I'm trying to look at it as the only way Crixus could be beaten was to be distracted by a worthy opponent while that sneaky wimp could attack from behind...as Caesar knows he is apt to do Again we should be glad if indeed Tiberius isn't historical. It will surely mean he's going to die in a most deserved, undignified way.

Well the UK is 1-2 episodes behind I believe, episode 7 airs tonight. I've managed to avoid spoilers so far, that is until Manu Bennett retweeted someone at the weekend regarding his character. Liam McIntyre is purposely not saying anything until most of the other airings are out the way, why couldn't Manu do the same

He did well in his short fight with Crixus. Crixus only managed to headbutt him before being taken down by Tiberius. Plus, Caesar had been recently pillaged up the ***!

For a brief moment I actually thought they might change history and Crixus would go down in defeat shouting "I am Spartacus!" and the other group would simply pass over the Alps and disband. That would have required Crixus surviving until the final episode.

I always thought that famous line would be spoken by Crixus' in the end.

I dunno. Back in season 2 I hated that he got his *** kicked by that big Egyptian guy, so I'm not sure I'd feel any better about seeing him fairly defeated.

He's an expert at getting behind guys. What a great episode!! I'm also on the bandwagon that Crixus' death was B.S. and should've been much better.

Manu Bennett is becoming one of my favorite actors, and I hope he gains more traction so he can get some movies going besides being in the Hobbit sequels.
