Speculation: Hot Toys "Solo" Movie Figures

But they only made 2: 3x Death troopers and 1x Shoretrooper

They were supposed to offer 2 other versions of the Shoretrooper (that never surfaced) as well as the Tank Trooper (that never surfaced). So HT doesn't just make all troopers.

This still baffles me as it seems like the other Shoretroopers would have been the easiest paycheck in the world.

I think they would do better with the plain un-colored grunts.

Been tempted to repaint mine as the grunt version since I do like that version the best. I remember someone posted a pic and they got two and repainted one. Looked really good.

Wouldn’t it be de-painting? But I could’ve sworn someone used cotton swaps and alcohol to remove the blue paint and that’s all there really is to it.

I recall one other guy also made a Hama skirt (I think that's what they're called). I liked the squad leader. Was a sort of a mix between clone and new trooper look. Also not too much colour. Only blue I think it was.

Look at the eyes at the same time. It comes across to me at most as a smirk. Almost distrustful or arrogant. But definitely not smiling happy / nice.

But yes, she is hot.

Ahhh alcohol... depainted version hehe.
I don’t wanna alter the original if or ever the other version(s) ever get released. I was lucky enough to get him for retail months after everywhere online was sold out at a LCS by my place.

Wow, yeah, that looks really good! I had to look up what the full trooper looks like and I have to say I prefer the all white look above over the black and white scheme from the movie:

With this Solo movie becoming a trilogy, expect to see new troopers every movies... HT has now an excuse to avoid the Death Star Trooper ...

See now why couldn't they have picked a trooper design like that for TFA rather than the Duck-trooper ??

But it can work wither way I guess. Also looks great as a pre-design with the exterior tubes and low tech front respirator.

Movie hype meter by me is off the charts. IW, DP2 and Solo. Can't wait for all of them !!!

Like a Death Trooper + Stormtrooper + a Scout Trooper. Looks pretty cool. I’m diggin the Mudtrooper and I’ve seen a few different images of the Mimban with pauldron and ammo pouches on those collector card images floating around. (Topps/Denny’s)
