Nope...only thing that has been confirmed is that the lead actor signed a 3 picture deal...just like Felicity Jones did for Rogue One and we can see how that deal turned out...

Agree, a movie trilogy would be cool. Certainly plenty of potential there.

In fact looking at those pics you posted an animated TV series would also work. Although I could imagine that being more focused on kids. Infact I'd almost put money on that happening if the movie is a success.

I’ve been feeling pretty positive about this due to the talent in front and behind the camera since the beginning (even with the change of director/s). This write up has me looking forward to it even more.

That could be a pretty good prediction I think. They always lead with a cool trooper, and Chewie is iconic without the time consuming real face sculpt. Plus they have the body, and designs done with 2 others for the fur coat etc.

I personally will be really keen to see if this Chewie will be better than ANH version, and therefore upgrade worthy.

She is just there to provide a bs love story. With predictably stupid Hollywood you can't have a man and woman work together in a movie without them kissing. Exception is if the man is black and the woman white like the case of TFA.

Chewie would be mine highest priority figure in this movie, the rest just...i dont know need to see the film first

Yep, I just hope they make Chewie in a way that he can be used as an OT Chewie if you want. Going by the trailers he may have goggles and a double bandolier. But both those things could be removed (maybe modified bandolier ??) to look OT.

At least I hope so....

There's also Deadpool 2. But I guess there will only be 2 or so from that film (Deadpool and Cable). So they'll use that to mix it up a bit from the Solo figure announcements hopefully.

But yes, this week should definitely be interesting for Solo......
