Speculation: Hot Toys "Solo" Movie Figures

I feel like the reason they announced Deadpool so early in the week is to make room for another figure announcement later in the week. If we don't get a Solo reveal by Friday, I think they'll unveil something different. But I feel we are definitely getting one of three things by Friday:

1. Cable
2. Solo related figure(either Han, Chewie or a trooper) or
3. a Classic Star Wars character(I feel like OT Lando could easily show up here) with an Solo unveiling for the following week.

As much as I'd love all the Imperial Troopers and Enfys Nest from this movie, I'd take a DP2 Cable over them anyday

Totally, agree. I wouldn't be surprised that they are contractually obligated to make "x" figures per film if they have the license.

Yeah, I wouldn't count on Qi'ra.

Not much from this film unless its a huge hit.

Star Wars movies are really just a primer for video games and blankets now... 3" toys are dying and $200+ dolls are too expensive for most.

I don't expect a large line for this movie. I'll be happy with the trio of Range Trooper, Mud Trooper and Patrol Trooper. I think we will also see Han, Lando and Chewie. We have 7? figs for TLJ not counting the BB units so hoping for at least 6 for Solo.

I agree it doesn't look like HT is going to do many, if any, figures for this movie. It's too bad. Those trooper designs look pretty good to me. And Han seems to wear a few different looks in the movie too--Mudtrooper armor, white vest with black shirt, the main look with the brown leather jacket, and the fur coat. They can probably add the fur coat to his main look if they're going to only sell the one figure. But I really would have liked the white vest with the black shirt because it's the McQuarrie look and it nicely mirrors his ANH look.

There's a couple dozen figures from the last four movies i'd like to be made but i'm not holding my breath anymore.

I'll certainly get most of the releases in the next 18 month, hoping HT will revisit TFA, TLJ, RO and Solo, but i suspect most reveals will be OT peppered with a handful of PT past the handful of Solo reveals we'll hopefully get in the coming weeks.
