Speculation: Hot Toys "Solo" Movie Figures

I've just read some of the reviews following it's premiere showing and they are all overwhelming positive. Given that those in attendance were specially invited and that there is an embargo on any reviews until the release date, it's looking likely that it will suck. Same thing happened with TLJ. Disney's hype machine running on Hyperdrive.

Yeah after the critical response to TLJ, I think I’ll take any official reviews from these critics with a grain of salt, and see it for myself. Still, I remain hopeful this will be a good and entertaining flick.

Actually the full review embargos lift at 2pm on May 15, a full 10 days before the films release. Plenty of time for the hate machine to go into hyperdrive!

Infinity War must have really stretched HT, nothing for Deadpool or Solo. But yep, I'm hanging in there

Same here but this film cannot be worse than the Last Jedi. There was absolutely nothing in that film from designs to character arcs.

The biggest problem for me is Harrison Ford just owns the screen as Han Solo. I would have preferred a random smuggler tale set in the time period, but we shall see in a few weeks.

The Last Jedi review embargo lifted a few days before the release, not on.

Solo’s review embargo lifts 10 days before the release date.

I think a lot of people are gonna be upset about Enfys if they were looking forward to them being the baddy. At least they haven't put up pre-orders like Phasma for TFA lol

I was happy to see Enfys Nest is more than just a generic villain.

At least Enfys appears to have things to do and motivations behind them, unlike Phasma. Writers really dropped the ball with her role. Should’ve kept that deleted scene in TLJ where she shoots the Stormtroopers who hear Finn’s revelation about how she dropped the shield. Makes her more interesting.

At least Enfys appears to have things to do and motivations behind them, unlike Phasma. Writers really dropped the ball with her role. Yes, that deleted scene would have given her a bit more depth.

Yeah, a few of the Solo aliens have been up there with some of the best from the OT.

Seems like the standalone movies have been a real step up in the design department versus the main ST.

I would be very surprised if they don't at least show a Mudtrooper at some point, even if we don't see it released.

I would be happy if they make a Mud Trooper. But it’s kind of flown under the radar for a lot of merch so far. Only the Jakks big fig and a Funko Pop.

The main advertising trooper appears to be the Range Trooper, followed by the Patrol Trooper, the Mimban Stormtrooper, and then the Mud Trooper.

I think the Mud Trooper is a bit of a sleeper hit with fans that maybe they weren’t expecting. So I’m a little worried if it’s even in the works.

I don't expect to see any 1/6 character from SSC... A 1/4 young Lando Calrissian on the other hand is mandatory !

I’m fine with a character with legit motivations for a character, but is there anything to Enfys gender and age, other than Kathleen Kennedy trying to force another strong female character for little girls? Like, is the Star Wars brand bringing in a lot of younger girls as fans wanting to be all these new pro-feminist characters?

I’m not one to complain about it since I have a couple of daughters, but I can’t help but agree with fans who’s just getting tired of the Universe being filled with all these same strong female characters who are all one dimensional.
